Would any of you very kind folks happen to have fanfiction recommendations? I've searched everywhere but have yet to find any goodfic. And I'm desiring good Code Geass fic.

I'm not a fan of CG yaoi, but at this point throw any of your favorites out there. :]

Thank you very much. <333

Critical Point (http://lily-lily.livejournal.com/5670.html) is a pretty good one. It's SuzaKallen, so I'm not too sure you're into it, but the author writes in such an amazing way... It's definitely a good read. Even for non-fans. :D

I'm afraid that I really only like yaoi. Some of them are really light or non-existent, though. C:

Survive (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4022688/1/Survive) by RobinRocks
Stories (http://community.livejournal.com/asongforsomeone/526.html) by kittyling
Graffiti (http://valmora.livejournal.com/420698.html) by valmora
Pavlov's Dog (http://community.livejournal.com/eternally_sky/15075.html#cutid1) by kill_me_faster
Fic Arc: The House of Mirrors (http://realms-of-fic.livejournal.com/2784.html) by realms_of_fic
Flash in the Pan (http://realms-of-fic.livejournal.com/5124.html#cutid1) by realms_of_fic

I hope you enjoy some of them. I've read plenty of great Code Geass stories, but I never bookmarked them. I know what you mean though; the majority of fics are of rather poor quality...not that I can write any better.

Oh, I love Struts and Frets! :D Really nice~

Thanks for reccing me, btw :D
*is Ardentus Rhapsodia* My fic/art lj is [livejournal.com profile] cland3stin3, btw, if anyone's interested in my Code Geass (and some other fandoms I dwell in ~_~)

p.s/ Ha! The Pit XD XD I used to call it 'The Dump' and 'The Hellhole' :) Now I just stick to 'The Dump'. My drabbles (usually carry more weight than long one-shots) stays in lj.

Yeah. I originally saw 370 Days in a Year here on LJ. It's seriously one of my favorite stories in the Code Geass fandom! Well done. And you certainly deserved to be in the rec.

Haha! No matter what you call fanfiction.net you always have to admit that it's easier searching there for fics than anywhere else. There just so much badfic there that it's almost not worth it. ;-;

There is no good fanfiction, only crack and sunrise.

do both at the same time.
Extra points if you record yourself throwing a chess board upside down saying "What of it" right after.

Pimping a birthday fic written for me:

Something in the aftermath (http://glasssubway.livejournal.com/20916.html#cutid1) by [livejournal.com profile] glasssubway - features Lelouch and Suzaku - If you're also into Reborn!, I highly recommend her other stuff.

No problem!

Reborn! is great and most famous for the eye candy (sometimes who take forever to reappear in the series). The fanbase is huge, and there are tons of good fics. :3

watch Reborn!
No. Nonono. Read Reborn! The manga is so gorgeous, while the anime art is so fail. (Lol Artland...)

You can try looking through [livejournal.com profile] cg_flashfic for things you might like? :3 I know we've had a bunch of really great entries lately.

X3 No problem!

You'll find a lot of different characters/pairings/writers represented.

Didn't know this comm existed! :O

Makes me wish [livejournal.com profile] reborn_flashfic was just as active. XD

XD My friend's the mod there. A lot of people weren't turning in fics, so she just ... put it on the backburner as a project.
Date/Time: 2008-07-23 06:08 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] dame-batsie.livejournal.com
Yeah, she told me. *crycry* I wouldn't be this sad if I knew my requester read the thing for which I stayed up until 4 AM. But it's okay...there are other fic comms. XD
Date/Time: 2008-07-23 06:10 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] bellumina.livejournal.com
XD;; it happens at every comm, unfortunately.

Uhhhh, shameless self-promo (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/68578/)? ;; They're all short oneshots.

Let's see... Some of my favorite fics that haven't been mentioned are:

Something Rotten in Area 11 (http://community.livejournal.com/caveat__lector/36493.html#cutid1) by [livejournal.com profile] hopechan/Mikomi's Pen--Shakespeare, crack, and hilarity
The Fool Ascendant (http://community.livejournal.com/caveat__lector/36260.html) by the same author--gen, character study, backstory, probably has the honor of being the most depressing fic I've ever read
The Things We Do (To Make Suzaku Smile) (http://jusrecht.livejournal.com/4787.html)--humor and cultural diversity (lol)

Thanks for reminding me that I need to catch up on CG fic! *goes off to read*

I recommend anything written by [livejournal.com profile] jusrecht, especially if you like Suzaku.

8D I'm glad to hear that! I haven't read much CG fic myself, or I've only been really taken by jusrecht's so thank you for starting this thread, I'll be reading a few myself 8D
