Apparently, Code Geass is ending this OCTOBER. D: Like, FOREVER. If you have any information regarding about the series ending soon, please comment.

Okay so according to these comments, it's confirmed that it will end. & I'm sorry for this post I didn't realise there was a similar post here

" Progress report by the story originator and main writer, Ichiro Okouchi.
I've finished the script for Code Geass! Finished! It's not "to be continued", nor "end of this season". It's over, finished, the end. "

" S1 and R2 originally being one whole season(50 episodes), but they didn't get the slot they wanted(Sat6 - taken over by Ayakashi), and only managed to get a 25ep slot, so they had to divide it up into two seasons. So most people who knew about this expected R2 to be the end of the series. "

Now that explains quite a lot.

It's better to end it with two then it go on and go down hill. It's been a long hell of a ride for all of us. It's not over yet, so hang in there and enjoy it. I know this has become one of the animes I really love and will watch a lot of when I own all of it. Like Wolf's Rain is one I hold dear to me.

Better than a 100+ episode POS that ends up eating your soul and remaining IQ points, then ends with a filler episode. Short and sweet is best for us all.

Looks like its official. And I think Sunrise has already exhausted all their plot twists that they can't twist it any longer.

Anyways, this is for the best and I'll miss Code Geass dearly for sure.

we'll miss it but I suppose it's inevitable. Turn 15 was like WHAT I WASN'T EXPECTING THIS TO HAPPEN UNTIL PRACTICALLY THE END OF THE SERIES. this makes sense now, thanks for the info. :)

Of course they will make one, Sunrise would not let all this crazed CG fanbase go away without trying to sell us even more stuff XD

Maybe it's a matter of experience, because I simply can't recall the last anime I watched that went past two seasons, but the overwhelming majority of them are two seasons or less. Heck, Japan has half-season shows that are designed to only be that long.

Two seasons isn't that bad, and it keeps it from becoming one of those monstrous drag-on-shows. I like knowing when a series will end, it gets me psyched that I'm not going to have to watch something that doesn't know where it's going.

it's SUNRISE. They're famous for milk their products till they can't get more money of them. And then, they made a re-edition. Or a paralell history, or whatever...
I can expect whatever from them (even when i'm still waiting the Gundam Seed movie that was going to be ready last year ¬¬)

I predict an animated Nightmare of Nunally.

AMIRITE. :D

...WHAT?
Apparently lots of people knew about this ;A;

I think it's sad but...
I kind of think there'll be OVAs and a movie or something.

Aren't they going to make code geass other series? Like from Suzaku's point of view? Or Nunally's? I kind of expected them to do that (since they have those manga's). I'll watch it even if I kind of dislike Suzaku?!

There must be SOMETHING that follows.
I don't expect Sunrise to just stop such a succesful anime?
Well...we'll see what they do.

ANYWAYS, I'll still miss it. Loads. *sniff*

Maybe they'll pull a Kyo Kara Maoh. Screen two seasons, leave it for like two years, and then pull out a mass of OVAs and a third season out of nowhere.

*flail*
