Well, it actually first aired back in 1995. 13 years ago.
You really should check out some of the other series too, as you've listed probably the most mediocre Gundams out there. The best on your list is 0083, and that was full of cliches and was really nothing more than a setup for the Titans in Zeta. ^_^;; though 08th MS Team is pretty decent from what little I've seen.
