code_geass ◾ C.C.'s burn mark (Reply)

Since Turn 15 has revealed quite a lot about CC's past and what the symbol in her forehead was, I recalled the burn mark that's slightly below her left breast shown in a flashback in episode 11 of season 1.

Now I don't really think we can theorize on what it exactly is, at this point, given the lack of information - but what intrigued me is, exactly when could CC have gotten this mark? The possibility of it being after she got her Code is really low - because throughout the series, she had suffered multiple wounds of varying degrees of severeness - yet none of them left a scar like the burn mark did(I assume it was a burn mark based on its charred looks). And yet it wouldn't be before she got her Code either, because even if she did suffer through slavery, and it would be possible for her master to 'mark' her by burning a symbol onto her, it would be weird for it to have such striking similarities to the Geass symbol.(Unless she was a slave for the Geass cult or something - but we don't really know if it exsisted back in her time) And assuming that the similarities were merely coicidential - we don't get to see her burn mark when she recieved the Code and got all bloody in Turn 15, and neither do we see it in the matching ED1 picture.(And in both cases, her hand wasn't in the way)

So....any thoughts? Or am I thinking too deeply about this?
