It's ok, even if its in romanji, it's still good practice ^.^ I just learned how to type in hiragana two weeks ago, after out sensei told us we can type it on computers lol

I think Japanese is easier understandable in the Japanese writing system than it is in romanji lol. Makes reading it out loud for the beginner a little difficult, but the kanji make the meaning clearer unless it's silly-ass manga that likes to make puns with same-sounding kanji characters xD

Yea, in my class we like to make up ridiculous mnemonics (sp?) to memorize the kanji, so that definitely is easier XD

When I started learning kana, I got a book with lots of mnemonics, lol. I myself fail to create any xD In context I remember them just fine, although I tend to mix some up >>; hidari and migi for example lol
