Anya and Nunnally

So, I've read those new spoilers/theories from the Korean Blog that seem to come true and have come to the conclusion that...there are some coincidences that probably have nothing to do with anything in Geass but weird me out anyway.

For all that have read the spoilers, we all know that the ones that recently came out state that the true Nunnally is Anya and the Nunnally Lelouch has come to love is in fact a spy from Charlie.

At first I thought it could not possibly be true. Nunnally, not the true "Nunnally"? That was a big shock to me, especially since the Korean Blog spoilers will 95% come true it seems. Then, I decided to think about it a little bit and have come up with a weird coincidence. Before that, let me say what led up to those thoughts.

When Suzaku called Nunnally to see if Lelouch was really Zero, I thought it was weird that Nunnally didn't really protest or think about why Lelouch was faking not to know her. When I heard V.V. tell Charlie that "Lelouch has even lied to Nunnally" I immediately thought: Lied, when? He didn't exactly LIE to her and how the heck would V.V. know that Lelouch didn't tell Nunnally the whole truth. Even though V.V. "kidnapped" Nunnally (and thus they know each other to an extent), I doubt that Nunnally would tell him something completely irrelevant to him about a disowned prince. How else would V.V. know that Lelouch "lied" to her? Unless I'm missing something about this scene, this is what my conclusion came to be: V.V., Charlie, and Nunnally all are into the whole grand scheme of things. Another thing that fueled this thought was when I heard people saying that Charlie has said that Nunnally is part of his "plan".

So how would Anya come into this? Well, if it's true that Anya is Lelouch's sister, there is a lot of evidence. Her familiarity with the Europa and Mariannes home. Plus, actually seeming to know/remember young Lelouch and have a picture of him. Also, her resemblance to Marianne is a little too close for comfort.

However, the thing that kind of triggered me into thinking that Anya is really the princes Nunnally is her name: Anya. Anya is the Russian version of the name Anna, which is the same name that Anna Anderson has in the cartoon movie (gosh, and I love it so much) Anastasia. Anya lost all her memories of being the Grand Duchess Anastasia and little by little recovered them until she realized, and her grandmother and Dimitri, that she really was the Princess she was trying to impersonate. I don't know why it hit me so hard that Anya and Anya both have many similarities. I kind of doubt that the writers would do something as weird as this, but it's still something to think about. So, is Anya really the princess Nunnally and Charlie has erased her memories and little by little she is recovering them like the Anya Anastasia?

Other things to also think about: Does Nunnally love Lelouch after all this time with him? If so, why would she "stay close to Charles" 'till the end if she does love him?

Of course, the "spoilers" could be wrong and I'm totally off the mark, which I'm pretty sure I am. I just thought this would be an interesting discussion; The whole Anya/Anya coincidence.

after reading it... it makes sense. in the whole convoluted geass world sort of way.

they could even have been switched during the kidnapping in s1. or it could even be the fact that lulu's been geassed since the beginnning of time.

ouch, now I come into realize, Rolo and Nunally have same birthday? Though there is high possibility that Rolo's fake one. Hmm what might be hinted on these birthdays?

Yeah, Rolo took over Nunnallys birthday; I guess it was easier than making a new birthday. Or maybe it's his real birthday....HMMM.

I totally support this theory. It makes sense and is "WTF?!" enough, and all your points seem pretty valid to me, including the one about Anya's name - good job! p^__- (I've always been wondering how they came up with that name, but this has certainly never crossed my mind! xD;;;)

Personally, it would make me happy to see Anya as Lelouch's true sister as I like Nunnally, but don't really feel that attached to her, while Lelouch and Anya are both my favourite characters and it would be just way too cool if they turned out to be THE siblings. xD However, I have a bad feeling that if it's true, the outcomes will be extremely bloody and angsty. I'd like to believe that Lelouch will accept Anya as his true sister and they'll live happily ever after, but I think it's more likely that Anya will be killed by Charles or by Nunnally (by Charles, if she's a hindrance in his plot; by Nunnally, if Nana-chan does love her oniisama after all and is jealous, pretty much like Rollo). I admit that if Nunnally really turns out to be an impostor, I'm scared of her (and her oh-so-weird closed eyes O___O;;).

One more thing, if she actually is a fake, I wonder if Rollo knows it? And if Rollo and Nunnally really are twins (as I believe), do they know about it? Because I think it could justify a *tiny* bit Rollo's murderous attitude towards Nunnally - she would certainly win a better future than him, having a safe spot and a loving brother... It would obviously make him very happy to get the chance of replacing her when Lelouch's memories were changed. Technically, he would have the same right to be beside him as Nunnally would... (Which is, actually, no right xD;;)

Nunally - a blind and cripple? She couldn't stop Lulu even if she wanted to. And there has been official art of Nunally being little and playing with Lelouch.
It doesn;t make any sense. BUT this is Sunrise, it could very well happen.

now i totally get it! Anya/Lelouche, Rollo/Nunally.
But Nunally has the same eyes as Lelouch! And all royal family has curly hair (they have the same father, and that is with all of the princes and princeses, even Lelouche.).
So it is still incest. ^^

I admit this is where my thoughts lead soon after I heard this theory, too D: Even though I've never before considered love Lelouch's love for Nunnally as "something more", as some people try to imply. I still think these ambiguous remarks are just producers' meaningless teasing, but seriously, if Nunnally knows she's a spy and (possibly) not Lelouch's true sister, could she have developed feelings for him during the time they spent together? O.o I confess I find this thought kinda creepy. D:

However, I'd say that everyone will be killed off before we've got barely any developement/answers concerning these topics, so it's kinda pointless to speculate about that ^^;;;;
