I'm still speechless. As usual, please do not click if you don't want to spoil yourselves.

I'll just state a few points that we can discuss, because I'm still too speechless by the recent turn.

- Sayoko released Kallen, who joined the fight her upgraded Guren. Lloyd went "NOOOO!! My ---"
- Anya trapped Shinkirou, almost succeeded in pwning Lulu but she got another sync episode and fell.
- Rolo (;_;) wasn't really planning to save Nunnally... "I'll find Nunnally and kill her. Nii-san's only sibling is me."
- Luciano's dead, thanks to Kallen. Funny that Kallen used Luciano's famous words before finishing him off "What's the most important thing to you?"
- Nina initially wanted to use Lancelot. No way, woman. She kept urging Suzaku to "Fire! Fire it!", much to my annoyance.
- Charles' actual whereabout is still unknown, but he seems to be enjoying the show to the fullest
- Kinoshita died in front of Asahina, and Asahina had just told Toudou that Zero's not actually purely helping them because of the Japanese (he didn't say that, but that's what we can interpret).
- Guilford died saving Lulu ;_;, and Cornelia (who managed to escape) kind of felt his presence moments before his death. My pairing...
- Jeremiah rocks in Sigfried, but Lakshata still wondered why the heck was Jeremiah fighting on their side in the first place
- Lulu was intent on killing Suzaku off. I bet he totally forgot his Geass on him was still on.

- I've always known somehow that Suzaku would use Freya, but I didn't expect it would be under this situation. Kallen's upgraded Guren totally pwned Lancelot (which was why Lloyd and Cecil kept urging Suzaku to "Run away, Lord Kururugi!". Nina screamed at him to shoot Freya, saying that it would save his life. Suzaku refused. But before the impact that would surely kill him, the "Live!" Geass activated and Suzaku fired.

Everything was almost in slow motion. Too many things and too many people were enveloped by the pink light. And everything vanished just like that. I felt for Lulu when he screamed for Nunnally before the explosion.

If Sunrise is fucking our brains for real, chances are Nunnally, Sayoko and many others are still alive. It happened to fast for even Sayoko to retreat with Nunnally. Rolo wasn't with them, so he was saved.

When Lulu asked Rolo about Nunnally, the poor kid tried to make Lulu see some light. "But Nunnally is dead!" and Lulu (denial, maybe) harshly screamed "Shut up!". Rolo's death is practically confirmed judging by the preview. Lulu's going to take the phone and the locket and smash it to the ground.

Maybe Rolo would try to comfort him by saying that Lulu's still got him even if Nunnally's gone. And knowing Lulu, he's going to snap and tell Rolo everything about him using the boy for his cause.

The worse part is that Schneizel was smiling triumphantly when Suzaku fired Freya.

Additional:
So Suzaku was the one who fired Freya, but that was only due to the Geass. We know that Suzaku flat out refused to use it. Technically, this makes Lulu the one who's responsible for all the death count. It all comes back to him. If Nunnally REALLy died, then he should be blaming himself for her death too.

Or did Lulu totally, totally forgot about that? He should know why Suzaku fired when he was at the brink of death. If he wanted Suzaku to really die in battle, why didn't he tell Jeremiah to undo the "Live" Geass on Suzaku?

p.s/ I didn't realise the previous post by someone else since I was typing this at that time. This post runs on another wavelength though, because our emphasis on the events in the episode (plus the info) is different. Mods can delete this post if it's violating the rules, nonetheless.

The Suzaku we've been shown until now would not fire a WMD even if it kills him. So when I read that Suzaku would use Freya, I never doubted that it would be under this situation. Especially since Taniguchi said that the live Geass would play a part in R2.

Care to elaborate how she can survive a nuke attack that pretty much wiped out the entire population of Tokyo?

Sayoko might be in possesion of a magic door or what, but right now, all evidence point to that she's dead.

Oh Nina I've hated you since season 1 now my hate goes beyond leaps and bounds. I hope that Kanon can increase my love for him and kill table-lover next turn.

Nunnally is not dead youc an be sure of that. This is Sunrise we are talking about. If Muw can come back after being blown to bits this is nothing for Nunnally. though Muw was the man who can make the impossible possible...I'm sure sh'e alive though.

holy shi-, I gasped during the nuke scene, especially when seeing the irony that Suzaku activated it because the LIVE geass. OMG, Lelouch will surely break down if he knew the real reason of the tokyo nuke. I wonder how he will develop after this.

Ok, we learnt that Lelouch has considerably developed compared to 1st season, but again, nunally is his most important. With this he has already (accidentally) killed two most important persons in her life, euphie and nunally.

Since sunrise stays cold blood, even went as far killing nunally, I only could predict we will witness more deaths from now on to our remaining favorite characters. Perhaps in the end Lelouch will achieve what he wanted, but we could expect that either he's briefing with all the people he lost or take his humanity off and turning into another tyrant *put evil lelouch smile here*

He was aiming it at Kallen, who happened to be at an angle between him and the main Government building, so it wasn't that he was intentionally trying to blow up Tokyo; the 'LIVE' Geass just kicked in to make sure he would survive no matter what it took.

Well, Taniguchi wanted everyone to believe that she's dead. I'm sure she'll appear in the last episodes and everyone would be just like "OMG NO WAY SHE SURVIVED!!!1".

She can't be dead just because there are pretty much secrets around her - I remember Taniguchi saying this clearly. And hey, her eyes are still shut. I'm sure that she'll open her eyes at the end of the show.

I personally think that Emperor's needing her for some reasons involving geass - and he could transport her in a second to every place he wants, like V.V. did it once.

I don't see why Lelouch would know why Suzaku fired Freya. For all he knows Suzaku was going to fire that all along. Though if Suzaku was really so intent on not using Freya, why the hell didn't he just drop the gun off before he went to fight? Why did he bother equipping it?

The live geass comes back to haunt Lelouch. We all knew that would happen eventually...

I don't think Nunnally is dead though. The korean blog spoilers specifically say Asahina died during the attack but say Nunnally is only missing. Missing = Alive in anime world.

Lelouch ordered a death blow specifically on Suzaku, and he should know that he's Geassed to escape death no matter what. It's not completely obvious, but it should be easy enough for Lelouch to draw the connection. But then, he's not in his right mind right now either so. . . [shrugs]

And imho Suzaku equipped the bomb because whether he likes it or not, he's a Knight of Rounds and working directly under Schneizel and the Emperor. He was given orders to take it, and then make his own decision to use it—which they all but said really translates to "you better or else." If he had tried to leave without even equipping it, they would have taken it as outright insubordination and probably wouldn't even have let him out. After all, this is what Nina and Schneizel wanted—they've both been pressuring Suzaku for a few episodes now.

(also, agreed: I don't think Nunnally is dead either, unless they wanted a reaaaally anticlimactic death for her.)

I'm not alone! D: I actually rather love Nina, and R2 has been rather wonderful for her. Just right now...... I don't know, I'm still in shock over the whole thing. Not sure when I'll get over it. I always hated all the hate she was getting, unfairly (just like Suzaku was getting earlier in the season, only worse!) and just.... :< Girl needs help, Kannon be a good friend.

.....And that is the thing, her friends right now. God, on the topic of friends, if Milly is dead...... Nina's reaction to that? Yes we got her reaction to Shirly, which was wonderful, but Milly really is something to her, even if right now she's trying to push her away.

I'd think that Nunnally is actually alive, since we didn't see her die on-screen. Ironically, Freya probably saved her from getting killed by Rolo.
