Lol, yeah. This was more of a theoretical poll- who would you _want_ him with, cause while I think that the series is _going_ to become romantically inclined, I don't see him as romantic either- waaay too focused on his goal. And actually, this and gundam seed are one of those shows in which, while I'm an avid supporter of the two main guy characters together, don't mind the het pairings, mainly cause they're well done and I like the girls, and it's kinda like-- DUH, this is where it's geared, it's not a shounen-ai anime, so don't expect it. It's enough if in the fandom they're canon ^.~

OMG, yes RaITo! He just gives you the whole 'I don't CARE about girls... or guys for that matter' vibe. Kinda like Ryoma from TeniPuri, lol. Though I definitely like him with Fuji and Tezuka (powertriangle!)

You know something i just realized? Kira means light in Japanese, and that's his nickame, but .. Raito sounds like the japanification of the word 'Light'. So it's like... a double entendre or something. O.o Weird.

I voted for Suzaku~ I have not seen him close to any female characters. Although, LelouchKallen or LelouchC.C. could develop. But, it's unlikely Lelouch will fall in love, since his obsession is about 'being a Rebellion'. To add. He's a pimp. I can so imagine him going after C.C. next.

LOL, so true. It really was just about characterization, of which in some cases they did very little. But at least the content of the show, minus plot, was entertaining and endearing enough to hold it through that little flaw ^_^

Oh yeah, it's really strange. *pleased* It just HAD to be CLAMP that created such complex characters. I mean, Shirley's probably the closest to the stereotypical heroine that most fangirls hate, but even she has some redeeming qualities and a not so cooki-cuter personality that keeps her from being hated too much. And then, aside from her we have Karen and CC who kick ass, Suzaku and his dreamland/idealism issues, Lulu's machiavellian tactics and dual personalities... but anyway, Lloyd. Yeah, he scares me a little (LOL) but he's cool cause yeah, like you said.... he's got a HUGE reality check deal, but he's still so cheerful and plotting at the same time (ftw?) with a dash of pride and revelliousness toward society. ^_^ Just so not your average mad scientist.

I get the same feeling from both Lulu and Light. That's why I really think in the end Lulu will end up with no one. "Raito" is supposed to be a japanification of the word Light. I do believe the mangaka of death note intended it that way. That's why all the official romanizations of his name are always "Light".

Yup, it's up to clamp to create non mary sue characters, and especially angsty ones... I don't like Sakura or Syaoran though, they need a reality check too. Which is part of the reason why I wish TRC main character could've been Kamui... or characters that are like him.

But the thing is clamp didn't create the Code Geass characters. They were told about the characters' personalities and their issues and clamp was asked to draw them. (Clamp hates Suzaku and scared of Lelouch's eye by da way)

As much as Shirley seems like an fangirl hated character, I luv her when she gets jealous over Kallen(That's the way her name is spelled btw) and starts whinning, where Mirei? Comes in and jokes on her.

Lelouch, even with his machiavellian tactics and dual personalities, I love him the most.(Evil clamp besei LOL). And Lloyd, because he's mature and cool (on the inside ^^). and I love Kallen the 3rd!

AND I HATE Suzaku, Euphemia, and Nina! The Royal couple of dreamland needs reality check... or disappear from the screen. They're like living in fantasy society of 5yr olds. ....and Nina.... omfg, the last scene of her freaked me out.

Lloyd was actually suppose to be "your average mad(maybe?) scientist". Lloyd's personality was created when the voice actor decided to have fun with his character. *The wailing~ and shreaking.*

It's okay about rambling, I'll ramble back in return ^^
