Hi-RAW
Triumph RAWS version 2
CP RAWS

AHAHAHAHAHA
YES, YES YES!!! Our Lulu is back!! AWAY from the witche's Shirley's hands!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA.

A bit disappointed that Lulu actually had feelings for her... but but but, SHIRLEY is OFFICIALLY
GONE!!
Come on Suzaku, get him.. Get him!!!! It's your chance!! Before Viletta Or what ever her name is tells Ougi and the others!! Come on, Suzaku-----!!! KYYAAAAAA---!!!

And Rival and his love for Lulu. xD I liked how Mirei was like "Don't be so annoying/stop acting so weird just because Lulu hasn't played/been with you these days" xDDDD KYYAAAAAA--!!

Oh, and Mao, you BASTARD. I love you. xD
Except for the fact that he's crazy for C2. Dx

And the yuri-ness... I hate it. I mean, Nina isn't a bad character and Euphie isn't either... It's just that Nina definitely has sexual affections for Euphie, and she knows/admits it too!!
Nanalie told Rival that people with something planned on the meeting of Euphie wont be allowed to meet her. In this case the something is interperted as a "sexual" or "for the riches" thing and when Nanalie finsihed her line and Rival was like "what!?", Nina looked down as if to hide her "true" feelings... GAH, the yuri-ness is killing me. Dx

I don't mind yuri in general... but Code Geass needs MORE YAOI. The main characters are all guys!! I mean, the females are more on the "side" "useless" people side... YAAAOOOOIIII-- K, not exactly Yaoi but at least Shounen Ai?

At least I got to see a cute Suzaku and Rival.

C2, I like her... but I don't like C2 and Lulu scenes. Dx
There's like less Lulu and a male scenes now. T-T;;

Oh and Seshiru... looks like she has something also-!!! x]

Awesome, I'll look into it! Thanks for the recommendation.

I think the reason why I'm not very excited about this series, yaoi fangirl-wise, is because Lelouch/Suzaku reminds me way too much of Kamui/Syaoran, and...not going there. That's just scary. (Also I've only seen two episodes so far, I finally got my computer to play them properly, don't tell anyone shh.) I dunno. I like Lloyd.

Well you can always try the GS special editions. That way you don't actually have to sit through 50 episodes if you don't want to. Only three 90 minute episodes (well I think they are around 90 minutes). Not sure that I can recommend Destiny....it has some really good moments (like say episode 34) but they messed up the pacing and rushed the end I think. But then there are special editions for Destiny too if you don't want to sit through all the episodes...

Thank you.

Some people just can't agree because it doesn't satisfy them. :( Fortunately the writers are writing for a MASS audience and not one person.

Err... where is it implied that Code Geass is a shounen-ai/yaoi show? It's more of a shounen-type show, meaning it's aimed for boys. (Yet we always run into girls watching, haha.) Perhaps the yuri bit can evolve into a dangerous obsession and endanger Euphie and Suzaku to the rescue? Could develop their relationship more, who knows.

I agree the female characters are on the side mostly but they will probably develop into stronger characters as the series goes on.

I've only seens bits of SEED and I thought it was really aimed at boys. I met A LOT of Kira fanboys. DX I agree, LOTS OF BISHIES IN SEED. How cheap. XD

Wing was definitely more fanboy material, in my opinion.

With all the het hints and the canon yuri, Geass is one of the least yaoi-leaning series I've seen in a while. If people want to ship Suzaku/Lelouch that's fine (although I don't find them particularly interesting as a romantic couple myself), but all the bashing of the het and yuri is starting to get on my nerves. o_O Especially considering how badass and cool so many of the female characters are. Lelouch would have been reduced to a fine red paste on the ground long ago if not for Kallen fighting for him and C.C. saving his ass in key situations.

14 raw is out? yay! Oh wait.. darn it... torrents... I guess I have to wait a bit more...
So according to first 2 lines of your comment that I couldn't help myself from reading, Shirely is (as expected) going to be gone after this episode...
Oh no... the temptation to read the rest of comments is rising XD Why does Code Geass always make me spoil myself? (because it's that good, I guess :P )

Seconded. I don't see anyone bashing yaoi pairings, and yet there's flames against het/yuri/SHIRLEY.

YEAH WTH. YOU KNOW WHAT CODE GEASS FANDOM. I LOVE SHIRLEY. I LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS. WHATNOW.

MORE SHIRLEY LOVE. :DDD ♥♥ MORE LOVE FOR ALL CHARACTERS. XD

If Nina develops an actual personality and plotline maybe I might see why she is the way she is and sympathize with her. But as of the moment I'm still inclined to dislike her intensely. And I feel like the yuri thing was totally out of the blue and pointless. Don't see why they'd bother, unless like someone mentioned...she's going to end up being some insane Euphie-stalker and Suzaku is going to have to rescue Euphie! I think it's clear if anyone hooks up with Euphie it'll be Suzaku. So Nina is not going to end up with Euphie...so again what's the point of focusing on this random crush of a little seen, little used and seemingly unimportant character?

Even Nina? Heh...

I don't mind Shirley much anymore. I admit I didn't like her before, but she's been a really sympathetic character these past few episodes. Hard not to feel bad for the poor girl.

Thank you. I had to step on my tongue. I have liked LuLu/Shirley since the beginning and don't see what's so wrong with the het pairings myself.

But then...I never do. ^__~

Too bad not everyone share the same feelings as you do. :( I've seen people accusing Shirley of using her father's death to kiss Lelouch, which just irks me. Shirley just isn't that sort of person.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 03:44 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] annwyd.livejournal.com
I don't particularly like Shirley or Lelouch/Shirley (although I have no problem with it as a tragic part of canon, like Kira/Fllay in SEED), but I still don't feel the need to run around babbling about what a horrible witch she is in public comms. :/

I'm going to say as much as I love Suzaku/Lelouch, in no way do I expect this series to do anything more than occasionally offer some fangirl fodder with dialogue choices and expressions. Shounen series just don't much shonen ai, though there have been exceptions such as with Zabuza/Haku from Naruto. As for the yuri, I wouldn't mind it if it was done in a less disturbing way. It always seems non-sequitor within the rest of the scenes. Nina's crush itself is fine. I just wish it didn't have to come across as fanboy pandering.

Maybe Lelouch tends to ally himself with females because the guys he knows are kind of idiots half of the time. I love Suzaku terribly, but it's true when it comes to the Zero/Suzaku/Britannia situation. And there really is nothing you can say in Rivalz' defense. Lelouch just likes girls who can top him because he's a mega-pimp who likes to kick your ass with girls. It hurts more that way. I'd much rather have him mixing it up with two girls who fight for him (we'll give Shirley an honorary mention here) than two vapid bombshells who just want his sex like in most series. Seriously, almost every girl Lelouch knows, with the exception of Nina, could probably kick his ass.

CODE GEASS IS ORGY IN THE MAKING LOVE. MMKTHNX. :D

Well, she was never a horrible witch, but I was irked by the classic crush mentality that makes me despise fictional characters unless they are under 14; then they get a pass. But I'm an equal opportunity hater. I hate guys with that personality too.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 03:55 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] eurys.livejournal.com
Mwahaha, Shirley didn't die! Take that, Shirley haters! (no offense to those who dislike her, but it was a bit tiring to see people bash her and wish her death when the poor girl already has a sucky life...).
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 03:57 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] annwyd.livejournal.com
I was bugged by the fact that she seemed to have no personality aside from being "sweet schoolgirl with a crush on Lelouch." There's nothing wrong with that. But I think the freaking out about her, especially from yaoi fangirls, was a bit much.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 04:01 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] nayami.livejournal.com
I admit I spazzed at first when I first saw the kiss pictures and before I watched the episode and realized the actual way it was done because I hate the idea of Lelouch being with anyone. I see it as completely against his character. But since episode 12, I've grown to like the setup a lot, not the pairing mind you, but the storyline between the two. I like what they did with Shirley's character. I think they made her someone to remember instead of just another dramatic female.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 04:03 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] zalem.livejournal.com
awww...even I didn't think that. She was very upset and hugged Lulu for comfort. Most people would reach out for help orcomfort in such a tough situation. They happened to kiss, but even she seemed to feel bad about the kiss afterwards, it wasn't like she was gloating.
Date/Time: 2007-01-19 04:05 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] annwyd.livejournal.com
Agreed. I was never worried about it myself, though, but only because I just couldn't see the anime going in a permanently Lelouch/Shirley direction. I'm open to Lelouch winding up with someone eventually, though, but not until he's worked through a whole lot of issues, sheesh. Anything that starts now is bound to be screwed-up and doomed.
