No no, I know what you mean. There are a lot of characters you can sort of sympathize with, regardless of the magnitudes of their actions. Um, I can't seem to think of characters off the top of my head (Kenshin? Any ol' ninja you can pull out of your ass? Probably even Lelouch himself), but yeah. There are plenty of characters who do the same exact thing but still are beloved by the fandom. It confuses me as hell, actually, that Rolo is hated even though there are a lot of other loved characters that do the same thing.
