Does anyone know when the Region 2 dub DVDs will be released in the UK? There's no listing of them on Amazon, play.com, I can't find any info on them at all.

do you mean the english dub DVDs? i have no idea about that... but japanese DVDs are all region 2s, so you can get those if you want :x

Whoops, yeah, I did mean the dub. I'll clarify that. I already knew the Region 1 DVDs were around, but they're preety useless for me.

Yeah, for now, R1 DVDs would do, since I usually watch them on my laptop, but I'd like the ability to use them on a DVD player.
I was sure I'd heard it was licensed, which is why I was so confused about the lack of info - a hit like CG, surely would be being advertised everywhere. Nevermind, though, there's no way it won't come over here, as the UK anime market is pretty much just taking off. (in comparison to the slowing down of the North American market.)

Yup, Haruhi was released on Sunday, I was actually looking it up when it occured to me to check for CG. It was released in the US, I believe last October, but I'm not sure.
Ugh, next summer, that is too far away!

I'm pretty certain it hasn't been licensed here yet. It's a big series, so there is a good chance, but until it's licensed, it won't even appear on any online stores.

Keep a wee look out at http://www.animeuknews.net/. One of the best sites for news in the UK, and if Code Geass is licensed, that site will probably explode :D
