Brainfart caused by turn 19 & 20 + Rolo Fanart

I still had a turn 19 hangover when I watched turn 20, so I couldn't even absorb what was going on there. Could someone please explain the episode (turn 20) for me please? It's not compulsory but I would very much appreciate it. :'D

I had hoped that Rolo made it out alive in R2 but I guess that won't happen. And why does it seem like Lelouch is more affected by Rolo's death than by Nunnally's? He just went a bit insane for like 5 minutes and then after that he doesn't mention her anymore. (In bright contrast to Emozaku when he lost Euphemia.) Thoughts/comments?

Another thing, in Turn 20, did Lelouch just commit indirect suicide? ACK. DO NOT WANT.

IMO, he was in total shock of Nunally's death. He spazzed out for a good while in his room,having just seen turn 19 3 seconds ago. and he was ready to die. and was prepared to do so until Rolo stepped in. He sacrificed his life for lulu, and while lulu was telling him "no no its alright" he used his geass to the point of heart failure to save his "brother" and he showed him that he still had something to live for. something to accomplish...whether it be this or that.

I was really shocked too. So many characters died in that episode, it was crazy. I even felt bad for Guilford. ;_;

I think it has to do with Rolo saving his life. Lulu had lost everything; Nunally, C.C., The Black Kngihts. He was alone. He had no reason to live. And then in comes Rolo, out of the blue, who saved his life even though Lulu had told him that he hated him and wanted him to die. Rolo's devotion made Lulu realise how he truly felt (T-T), and also that Rolo, despite being used, still had the determination to see through his mission; to protect Lulu.
It was sort of realisation that even though his reasons were gone, he could still fight and continue with his Rebellion against Charles =3

Aw yeah I guess so. Maybe he felt guilty too, for treating Rolo like dirt. He probably forgave Rolo in the end, but I wonder what would've happened if Nunnally died in Rolo's hands. That would've been even more tragic. Maybe Nunnally dying from Freya was a better death than at the hands of Rolo. It's also easier to swallow on Lelouch's part because his "live on" geass on Suzaku caused the event to happen.

Guilt probably paid a part, but I think mostly it was just the shock Lulu felt at the length of Rolo's determination =3 He realised he could still continue even if his primary reason was no longer around.

If Rolo had killed Nunally? Things would probably have been a lot different xD Lulu would have never, ever forgiven Rolo. Ever. Even the hidden affection that he felt for Rolo would have dissapeared if Rolo and not Freya had killed Nunally xD

it'd be a weird scene though, since rolo strangely resembles nunnally, appearance-wise. at first i thought he was the boy version of nunnally or something...

Hmm, I hadn't been under the expression that Lelouch suddenly realized that he cared for Rolo like that, or in anyway.

I had thought he was grateful, and that his last words were born more from pity and wanting Rolo to at least die peacefully and happily.

I had the saddest moment this morning, cause I was rewatching the beginning of 20, and Lelouch was on the phone and I was all "IT'S PROBABLY ROLO 8D" cause I had forgotten he was gone. And then I was like, "oh. ;_;"
