- The Official Site has released its summary of Episode 15, Kassai no Mao. Translation :



Episode 15 : Mao of the Applause

C.C. states that she will break off her contract with Lelouch and go back to Mao. Not listening to his objections, she left [Lelouch's] side. C.C. knows that Mao's objective is her, and decides to meet him again to take responsibility. At the appointed amusement park, she points a gun at him, but cannot pull the trigger. At the same time, in order to save C.C., Lelouch ponders how to fight an opponent who can read his every thought.



- In unrelated news that probably won't affect any of us here but is interesting to know anyway, Biglobe has put up Code Geass blog design templates for its users. There is the 'general series poster' we're used to seeing, one of Lelouch, one of the Lancelot, and one of...*drums roll*...Orange! The last one strikes me as awesome news, for some reason.

So do I! It's sort of impossible not to know. In Japanese fandom, 'Orange' and 'zenryoku' have became all-powerful memes of their own. XD I would love to see him again. And. They NEED to make a DVD special about him in an orange plantation. XD

Hmmm I wonder if C.C. break off her contract with Lelouch then will he still be able to use GEASS? I know that it have never been stated anywhere but I'm still asking 'cause I'm curious what those 'Lelouch objections' are. (I would prefer that he just doesn't want to part with C.C.)

Same here. XD Suzaku has gone up in leaps and bounds on my awesome o'meter even since he's shown to be such a 'crite. It's a great, underutilized concept.

(Of course I love the reality-checked characters, too. I love everyone! Just considerably less.)

I have no idea, but he's going to be in tough straights if he doesn't have Geass. We'll have to wait until the episode to find out if this is a symbolic "I'm moving out of your apartment kthnxbai" thing or a "Give me back that ring!" thing.

If he retains Geass, then his objections probably centers on A) how Mao really, really pisses him off this time and B) how he's came to trust her (which means a great deal to his type) and after Shirley NOW THIS. If he doesn't, his objections are probably more practical. It's pretty LL/CC anyways, though. She means something to him now, and apparently vice versa, though what that something is is debatable.

If perfection in English is required, I'm sure we'll be robbed of some stellar members. :DDD I hope you like it here!

I'm torn about Mao. On one hand, I quite like him and hope he stays on to make Lelouch's life miserable. On the other hand, IF Lelouch has figured out how to deal with him, not killing Mao makes as much sense as not killing Clovis. :/ We're somewhat overdue for another kicked puppy, Jeremiah not withstanding. But I still hope he stays. DILEMMA.

The love Code Geass fans have for Orange-kun is wild and enduring. He's seriously a meme. XD

We love our Orange kun so much, we want him back now! (I will hope every week for just one Orange scene! XD)

I have no doubt Lelouch will figure out how to deal with Mao because it's Lelouch and stories are boringly predictable that way; it's more like....they have created Mao as a device through whom they can say something about CC's character and past and I don't really like that sort of thing, unless they let him grow beyond that.

I am still much disturbed by his lack of presence in OP and ED. Does that mean no Orenji until the next OP illust change? BLASPHEMY. But we know not Sunrise's office address, thus.

Of course he will, I just have no idea if he'd find a way to completely neutralize Mao's Geass during 15-16, or if he'd just jury-rig a plan that saves CC and, for Sunrise, allows things to more or less remain as they are (again). I don't mind the character exposition that much, though, it's sorta expected from anime. Unless he stays Villaina Generica, in which case, it's boring. They'd need to pull off some stellar development otherwise, in which case, it'd be interesting to see regardless.

Thanks for the translation! I'm very excited about this episode. Mao has me interested, as does his relationship with C.C. (since he's so crazy!obsessed with her XD). But at the same time, more Lulu/C.C. makes me just as happy. X3
