Replacement discs, yay!

Anyone get their replacement DVDs from Bandai? Mine just arrived today and they seem to work fine. Bandai also included a few freebies including a couple mini pencil boards, a couple stickers, and I guess what is a .hack//Roots cellphone holder thingy. Did everyone else get the same thing?

Anyhoo, with the DVDs arriving, I've made region free copies and will be sending the whole package along with everyone's letters to Production Baobab. I actually haven't written my letters yet so I guess the package will be sent out Saturday or something. .^^; I would like to thank again those who participated! THANK YOU! =.D

For pencil boards I got Dragon Drive, Stratos4, and Infinite Ryvius. Then I got a Escaflowne card thing, plus an onegain twins postcard and two cowboy bebop stickers. XP

Haha~ Sorry <3 <3 XP Ya, but when I got it in the mail I felt the plastic of the cellphone holder and thought, "What the heck did they send me?! I hope it's all Code Geass related! Gundam would be okay too I suppose!"

My DVD 2 completely froze around the end of episode 9.
Fast forewarding, sadly, does work perfectly and doesn't show wether your disc is faulty or not.

I never really checked my episodes after I found that the extras menu didn't work, but I've read that there was a large problem with episode 9.

And you really have to watch the DVDs to find out if there's something wrong, or so I've heard. Like, skipping around isn't really going to tell you anything.

sorry to bother, but when did you send the e-mail to them letting them know about the disks?
I havn't gotten any response from them yet and I send one early August... when I first got them and they didn't work. I sent them a new one a couple of days ago but I still havn't heard from them.

Actually I did that too. I mailed them when I first got my DVDs and they didn't answer. I sent them another a couple weeks later and that one they replied and sent me the RMA info.

I just bought my box set today. I've only looked at the first disc so far, thankfully it didn't seem like there were any loading issues. I plan to sit down and watch both discs tomorrow, so I hope I don't find anything.

I still need to read the manga to see how bad the misprint was. I've already flipped through it and found the repeating pages, but I haven't heard anything about it impeding your reading. Are there actually missing pages in the manga? I hope thats the only thing wrong.

I had the disc issues, also, and have contacted both Bandai and Amazon (where I purchased the LE box from). I don't really expect an answer from Bandai, since the ANN forums revealed that they don't receive or send international replacements. Kinda sucks when you don't live in the US/Canada, but still want to buy their products.

Anyway, Amazon got back to me today (1 day after sending the query!) saying they've lodged the replacement order, and that I should post my boxset back to them. After doing that, all I need to do is quote my postage costs to them, and they'll refund that, too. Now that's customer service for you!

Just thought I'd let you all know, in case there are any other international buyers of these discs that are despairing at getting them replaced! Or even any non-international buyers who bought through Amazon. I'd much rather not paying for postage!

(Strangely enough, I can find no errors in my manga...it says it's the first printing inside the cover, but I can see no repeated pages. Here's hoping the replacement one won't be one with errors)
