 i juat read this somewhere about the next turn and felt that i needed to hear your opinions...

Kallen lands in Britannia's palace grounds demanding to see Lelouch. A couple of Guards cease her but then Lelouch comes out and orders them to release her. They then begin to talk. Kallen asks questions about why he became Emperor and does he not care about Nunnally's memory. Lelouch stays quit for a moment and then Kallen asks him to come back to Japan. Back to the Academy where he Suzaku and her and the rest of the school can live their normal lives again. Their true lives. Lelouch counters by saying that this IS his true self. This is what he's been working for ever since the day his mother was killed. And even though his Mother was wrong he still did it for Nunnally. That's how he's honoring her memory.
Lelouch then tells Kallen to leave and go back to Japan and never return; Japan will need her more than him. His destiny is different than her's. Lelouch then turns to leave and Kallen suddenly comes up from behind him and wraps her arms around him with tears in her eyes. She begs him one last time to come back to Japan and says she's won't leave without him. To come back to the school and be a normal student again. Become the real Lelouch again..... The Lelouch she fell in love with.

Lelouch lifts his head in shock at Kallen's sudden admission of love. But then he slowly lowers his head again. He turns around and embraces Kallen tightly. Kallen is a little shocked at 1st but then hugs him back with a slight smile. After a quiet moment Lelouch then whispers something into Kallen's ear. "I'm sorry"...... He then runs Kallen through with his sword. Kallen opens her eyes in painful shock and then coughs up a glob of blood. She looks back into Lelouch's sorrow filled eyes with her pain and sorrow filled eyes. Lelouch then says, "I'm sorry Kallen, but the path i go down, I am destined to go down alone." As tears run down his face he pulls his sword out of Kallen, and she drops to the ground. Dead. As a pool of Kallen's blood begins to grow he turns back around.
Lelouch with blood staining his white robes walks back to the Palace. He tells to the 2 shocked Guards to make sure that her family receives the body and then he will make sure her family is duly compensated for their loss. The nervous guards obey as they watch Lelouch, with a very heavy head and tears slowly rolling down his face, slowly walk back into the palace.

I wouldn't be surprised. My theory is that Lelouch either ends the series with C.C. or with Kallen at his side with the other dead. Been my theory for all of season 2 and yea... I won't be shocked if he's the one who kills either of them.

I'm going to lean greatly toward him being with C.C., but I agree with this statement. We learned that C.C.'s true wish, which is what Lelouch needs to fulfill on behalf of his contract is "To be loved", not "to die". We learn this in the episode where Lelouch is sucked into her memories in the World of C. So... I wouldn't be too surprised if he sticks with C.C. (She is also the most popular in Japan). Not to mention he told her not to die unless she was smiling.
