Are you kidding? They forgive him because he SIDES WITH LELOUCH. Kallen made the fatal error of choosing the other other option in addition to OMG KISSING HIM. Let alone the fact that he's told her before he wants her to come back to school with him, that he almost kissed her HIMSELF in Turn 7 when he was really hurting... but sure what's that mean in the face of HOMOLUST.
