That's the view I'm taking pretty much as well. I'm looking forward to sitting down and watching it all again in one sweep like I'm doing with season one at the moment. It's just... gah. I want to still have faith that it's actually awesome as a whole.

I just keep telling myself S1 was a little sloppy too and that it's just a series not meant to be viewed episodically. It does nothing but cause premature heart attacks.

Same. That thought depresses me like WOAH. In my view they either BOTH have to live or BOTH have to die. I will cry buckets if it's the latter, but will cry buckets if it really is only one of them. But really... if it doesn't all come to a head with them both working together to achieve ANYTHING (ala what I believe the core of the show is supposed to be building up to) then I'm going to give up on the writers completely (even more)

They're the self-sacrificing type. This is probably one big scheme to do just that and heal the world or something. But Nunnally... was apparently not part of the plan. That very well be what they're arguing about in the preview. Not sure who's siding where though. And I'm the same. I'd rather if one of them dies, they both die. It's just too depressing for words the other way.

I only notice because I'm always trying to figure out what it means. XD Also in Wolf's Rain, the changing colors of the sky in the ED was a BAD SIGN.
