I'm planning to order (or pre-order) the geass novels or the manga over the internet. Since dad said we'll discuss about my ordering of them online tommorow. I decided to give some thought about the novel and the manga.

I'm curious, do the geass novels also cover some details that's not actually found in the story? I've heard that the Geass novels happen to also mentioned a few things like kewell's sister and events that happened prior to Marianne's assasination.

Also, the geass manga. I'm considering buying Nightmare of Nunnally, but since that manga's set to be released next year (and honestly, I can't wait that long), I'm stuck between buying Suzaku of the counterattack and Lelouch of the Rebellion for the meantime. Which would you suggest to me? I haven't seen Suzaku of the counterattack yet, so I'm that curious 8D;

ANNND on a final note:

Does anyone know where to get the Code geass Chara Keychains from the first season? I'm looking for two Cornelia Chara Keychains and two Euphemia ones. I say two of each because I want to pimp my ds lite with more keychains and my phone seems... bare. do you happen to know where to buy one?

thanks for your help guys <3

and, we have a tag called "Mooks" instead of "Books"? ORZ
and I am sure I tagged this right, yes? 8D?

All the mangas have their own little versions of what happens in the series in general. I have Majiko's(manga artist for the Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion series) version of the comics and don't recall reading extra plots like the ones you've posted. In terms of "details" you'll never get it in a comic because they tend to shorten the series such that they can fit into um-th volumes of comic. If you want detail events of what happens in the anime series you're better off buying the novels.

Each manga tells their stories differently, and I don't just mean because they're focused on different characters. They have an almost completely different storyline from the anime and each other. For example Majiko's version of Geass involved scenes with Euphie going to Ashford school, Suzaku's Counter Attack had him dressed up in a crazy masked suit called Lancelot rather than letting him ride in a mecha of that name, and Nightmare of Nunnally had her meeting Geass-related aliens or some sort. These stuff never ever happened in the anime, and though to some extend they tell the same story of Lelouch's Rebellion, there are TONS OF DETAILS that differ from the original anime series.

That beind said, Majiko's version are the closest thing to the anime compared to the other two manga. And it *can* be fun to read (extremely) altered versions of the Geass story...I guess it depends on what you like.

Glad it helped. As for the figures, you're probably relating to the Chara Fortune set such as in this YesAsia (http://www.yesasia.com/us/code-geass-lelouch-of-the-rebellion-geass-fortune-telling/1004824725-0-0-0-zh_TW/info.html) listing? Unfortunately that's quite an old set, even auction sites such as ebay have limited supplies. It's especially hard to find them individually since they come in a box set of randomly packed 24. Little people auction them off individually, and those who do auction them usually sell them in a set.
