So I was talking with a certain group of people a couple days ago, and I was watching Dub Geass episode 16 until I noticed something very familiar about Ogi's Black Knights jacket....
I had noticed it since the very beginning, but I don't think he was wearing it because of religion ; but because he was an Eleven, a man inferior and oppressed to Britannian people ; and that CLAMP loves references.
Considering his Japanese heritage, I kind of doubt that he's Jewish. It's possible, but not extremely likely.
Personally, I never thought that he was showing his religion by wearing the Star of David. Wearing it was one of Ohgi's ways of stating how he feels about the way the Britannians are treating the Japanese--he's making an oblique comparison between the Jews in WWII and the Japanese under Britannia. And the fact that he's wearing it on his fighting jacket makes it a very Ohgi-appropriate way of making such a statement since he's not the kind of guy who would really say something like that out loud.
