Code Geass R2 Recollections Mug Set

I saw this mug set come up on Animate for preorder:

I immediately daww'd and basked in their cuteness for at least ten minutes.

What would you do with the mugs?

I'm slightly worried about the "recollections" part of the name though. Since Rolo is gone, is that an omen that Nunnally will be done for (and become a mere memory, too) by the end of R2? o.o

I'm not sure about how well the paint on the inside and outside would hold up over time. If I repeatedly poured hot liquid into the mugs and hand-washed them, would the paint come off in a month? A year? If anyone knows the quality of mugs like these, please do tell.

I have a few anime cups (I collect them), and I never risk putting hot liquid in them. I just use them for milk :p That, and I always wash them by hand, never in the dishwasher.

Though I am curious about how well the paint stays.. I would like to drink my hot tea from them, but I'm not sure if it would wear away the paint.

I'd get a set! But only if I have the money though. D: If they're porcelain, that would certainly make them more worth it, and I'm somehow more confident that the paint will stay that way - but they risk getting damaged in the mail.
