Hi everyone! how are you? im pretty good! people who already bought code geass R2 OST2 or downloaded it (and already listened to all the tracks) i would like to discuss with them about the ending of code geass.
i think you have already noticed that there are several musics that have not been played yet in code geass old episodes,i bet they will be played in the last episode ,and i feel that my dear lulu is going to die...cuz i lost my hope of a happy ending...
**these are some tracks that it caught my attention and my opinions:
08.dark activity>> this music sounds so suspicious
11.blue tiger>> i find this music mysterious
12.showdown>> NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this music gives me very very very bad feelings
16.last evening>> it seems to be an happy ending music, like fairy tales of disney romance cartoon movies, mostly marriage....but why it is called "last evening" are C.C going to die???? *sobsob*
18.pure feelings >> i bet this music is for when lulu confess his love scene toward C.C., but why it is kinda sounds sad?, will they separate?? *sobsob*
26.birthplace>> kinda happy music, like newbegining of something...
30.continued story>> i bet code geass ending will be what is called (open end)
so how about you? did any of the tracks caught your attention? and an idea or thought popped your mind?
**P.S: sorry is my english was so bad, im not a native speaker**

...and I won't like that!

1. Most obviously you could be wrong and it might've already played, albeit only part of it and maybe only once or twice, making it harder to recognize,
2. I was reading that people were expecting some of the music exclusive to other mediums of the franchise (radio dramas, whatever else there is) would show up on this album,
3. This album seems to be a final 'everything we forgot/didn't put in before', it's possible they decided to put some songs that were cut from the show onto this as 'bonuses' of sorts. I'm sure someone will eventually be able to point out the source of all of these songs, though.
RAGEEEE
There are at least five distinctive pieces missing from the two soundtracks, with God knows how many more that's slipped through the cracks. Here's what I noticed missing so far (personal favourites being nameless tracks #1 and #2):
1. Episode 01, 6:30 start has this flighty piano piece. Probably one of my favourites since it isn't overplayed like some other good-but-repeated-to-death ones (especially those from the first season), and fits the mood very well.
2. Episode 01, 13:02 start introduces this piano/violin combo that's equal parts frenetic and awesome but yet again, isn't to be seen in either soundtrack.
3. Episode 14, 14:35 start has this wailing electric guitar (I think) piece that's also repeated in a few other episodes after it.
4. Episode 14, 0:00 start has this poignant violin piece that's also played in episode 24, where Lelouch first meets Nunnally.
5. Episode 24, 13:47 start slips in an especially epic orchestral piece, again with violin, and again, not to be found on either soundtrack.
What about Madder Sky, Siegfried, and Prodigy off the first soundtrack that have yet to be played? Siegfried, ironically, doesn't play during episode 14--it's nameless track #3 I've mentioned above that plays instead. This is quite puzzling considering that there's only one episode left, and 25 odd minutes seem a bit tight to squeeze all of those in.
I'll be sorely disappointed if there isn't a third soundtrack. :(
P.S.:
6. Episode 21, 0:00 start has this playful track that goes on for the duration of Marianya/C.C./Suzaku's conversation. Not present either.
7. Episode 15, 19:36 start plays a beautiful and enchanting theme that is, again, missing like the rest.
8. Episode 17, 13:41 start has a piece best described as meandering.
9. Episode 21, 11:33 start is a very distinct and hard-to-miss piece that's also missing.
10. Episode 21, 12:21 start (that makes 3 unreleased tracks in one episode) plays an ominous piece.
Also, is it me or are half of Hitomi's songs never utilised? See first season for more details.
Re: RAGEEEE
One of the few pieces I am capable of recognizing.
Funny because today in school, I was hoping to ask this community where which pieces are present in which episodes.

I think it's going to be a happy end. The song is very serene and peaceful.
It's beautiful. ;_; (teary eyed just by listening to it)
As what little I can make out of the lyrics, with my still poor Japanese... the songs says:
itsuka mata aou ... ikiteru kagiri
(as long as we're alive someday we'll meet again)
Asu he hiraku melody (A melody opening to tomorrow)
Which is why, I'm going to hope neither Lelouch, Suzaku, C.C. or Nunnally actually dies. I hope Taniguchi teases us by making us think everyone dies but later shows the four living together in a cozy little house in the countryside after everything has settled down. (Oh I wish..)

The music sounds like a peaceful and happy ending, but the lyrics suggest separation. I agree with you that Lelouch's survival will be a cliffhanger--he'll be the last one to appear in that timeskip, but he'll live. I hope.
But WHO will be with him is up in the air. C.C. probably, since she has nowhere else. If so, her name will be said within the last few lines. Suzaku maybe, if he lives and doesn't have Lloyd/Cecile/Ashford/Kaguya as his personal war veteran support group. And with Suzaku would be Arthur.
Nunnally, though, I predict would not be with Lelouch if she survives, but be a part of the forces that maintain the peaceful new world. Playing the part where her brother, who had lost face to the world, can't. Empress/President Nunnally, anyone?

Even that tiny droplet of water
May protect a flower.
Even that small smile
Might become someone else's saving hand.
If we gather the shaking voices
We may even start a breeze.
Let us step forward
With those ever fluttering lights called life brightening our path.
Lalalalalalalalala...
Let us meet again someday...
Lalalalalalalalala...
As long as we're alive...
These overflowing feelings I have gathered within my hands as I crossed over time...
What are they?
Those people whose gentleness befits their eyes...
Where are they now?
Beside me is a new seat.
Let's meet again, for the sake of the future(some say it sounded like "for the sake of both of us". It's a toss up between 'mirai' and 'futari'.)
As much as I can, without all the decorations...
I'll try to live today as it is.
People are sad beings...
Yet the path continues.
Lalalalalalalalala...
Let us meet again someday...
Lalalalalalalalala...
As long as we're alive...
Lalalalalalalalala...
What the wind carried...
Lalalalalalalalala...
A melody that opens up tomorrow.
*repeat
