Lelouche and Suzaku's relationship seem similar to Subaru and Seishirou of TokyoBabylon/X fame.They meet. Spend a year of pure happiness together. They are separated by tragic events and are reunited again. Their hearts are full of unspoken wishes and misunderstanding. Seishirou wanted to die and be killed by Subaru, his dearest person. Lelouche wanted to die to atone for all he has done and he also wanted Suzaku to do it, his dearest and most trusted friend. Subaru kills Seishirou to grant his wish but he had to live on so he can continue Seishirou's legacy and to make sure that Seishirou's memory is not forgottn. Suzaku like Subaru murders his dearest friend out of love and desire to make his wish come true . However he must bear the burden of life ,continue Lelouche's legacy of Zero and live the future that they dreamed about.
I truly enjoyed watching CG 1 and 2!

I thought it was very sad and beautiful. CLAMP always stated, that in their stories, happiness is relative to every person. They also portray death as positive and freeing experience, much like being reborn. taniguchi -sensie must love the CLAMP ladies very much to allow them to influence the ending of code geass this much.Thank you for your reply!

OMG! Thank you for the picture! I had the picture in my mind when I saw the death scene. It was savage, sexual and incredibly tender at the same time. The flow and color of the clothes,the poses and the general feel of the ending are very similar. ALL hail CLAMP!!!

Thank you for your reply! If you liked Code Geass,I think you will like Tokyo Babylon and X by CLAMP.Lelouche's character design seem to have been inspired by Subaru and Kamui.
