I'm actually hoping that Sunrise will eventually come forward with what they originally planned.

If this happens, one of two things will happen:

1. The original ending will be so bad that everyone will eventually agree that this was the best direction to take things.
OR
2. Everyone will hate this ending even and bitch about how they shouldn't have changed it.
