Now that Code Geass is over (*sniff, sniff*)
I have a final few questions to ask:

1. Does Jeremiah, Cornelia and everyone on Lelouch's side know about Zero's Requeim?
2. Does Kallen know who Zero is?
3. What happened to Gino?
4. Does anyone of the Black Knights know the truth?
5. Are there any people who feel any remorse for Lelouch at all?!!!
6. If Lelouch is alive, how is he alive? He couldn't have obtained the code because C.C. is still alive. He must have done something like Marianne

Oh and I just realized something. Do you people remember the cosplay video from World Cosplay Summit? Anyone recognize the scene where Suzaku kills Lelouch...? Same as in the anime? This must have been foreshadowing.

3) He's still alive, chillin' with the gang, molesting Tianzi and watching Ougi and Villetta tie the knot.
4) Define "truth". The upper leadership knows that Zero Mk. I = Lelouch vi Britannia. At least a few members know that Lelouch vi Britannia = Lelouch Lamperouge. We don't know if anyone knows that Zero Mk. II = Suzaku.
5) In the Code Geass-verse? Maybe.

1. Orenji was in on it from the start, as were Sayoko, Lloyd and Cecil.
2. Kallen knows, she figured out what must have been the plan because she knew Suzaku was killing Lelouch, therefore bawwwed along with us.
3. Gino got the girl. Happy end.
4. Just Kallen, I guess... And from C.c. and Kagura's talk I guess she does too?
5. Nunnally I guess. I think Suzaku still hates what he did. Suicide was a cowards way out of what he's done too.
6. /a/ has a good theory going of, he has Charles's code and he had to die to activate it. So is now immortal with C.c.

How is Suzaku alive is a better question...

I wish even more that I had bothered going to Oosu that day to see that cosplay live...

6. The same way Guil and Cornelia survived. Someone in random curiosity mentioned that having your code removed doesn't equal death. C.C.'s nun killed herself after her code had been transfered and V.V. actually died because he was injured. I don't know if this is a fact, but that can be the answer.

while I love the theories presented in that article you posted.....one thing still bothers me. Lelouch says to Suzaku that living on (as Zero) is his punishment. So if Lelouch gets to live a happy life with CC, what is his punishment? Nunnally thinking he's dead?

ALSO, when he was "dying," he had shadows under his eyes. Shirley and Rolo (people we know definitely died) did as well. Other people who came back did not.

Any thoughts on these? I personally would love to think Lelouch was alive but.... (T_T)

I'm not sure, but I think living forever is a punishment enough. And that he has to live with the fact that he has practically deceived the people he loves and the tears they cried for him including the fans' XD While C.C. may look happy, I'm not so sure about Lelouch. If he's alive.

You're right about the shadows under his eyes though. Hopefully Sunrise clarifies this soon or not, evil bastards that they are LOL

Actually it made so much more sense if Lelouch was actually dead.
Code or not, C.C might have been talking with herself or with the origami we saw (which means "eternal life" and might be the representation of Lelouch)
Of course being Code Geass the end might be read in so many different ways, even if lelouch is my favourite character and I love him to death, to me it made much more sense if he was dead, if his one was a real sacrifice for everyone. Not if there was the "trick"

1) Jeremiah definitely knows; he didn't fight Suzaku seriously. Cornelia is not on Lelouch's side.
2) I think she does. And Toudou too.
3) Alive, though I'm not sure where he stays. Some people says he's in China. I'm still waiting for gg subs.
4) I doubt it. Maybe later after a long time?
5) Nunnally for sure. As for others, who knows?
6) Two theories:
- If he's alive due to C.C.'s code, it doesn't mean C.C. will instantly die. V.V. died because Lelouch and Cornelia thrashed him, and didn't recover because Charles had already took his code. It would just mean that now, C.C. can die like any other human.
- If he's alive due to Charles' code, he must have gotten it when Charles strangled him, and the Code activates only when Lelouch died. This is consistent with how C.C. lied bloody in the church after the nun forced the code on her. The nun must have killed herself with the gun after killing C.C.

5. Do you mean sadness at Lelouch's end? If so, I think yes. Not only Nunnally, but Suzaku cried too. I know that he can't forgive Lelouch, but maybe at the point he stabbed Lelouch, he was finally able to do it? Afterall, his life as "Kururugi Suzaku" is over. *shrugs*
6. Hmm... most endings never give the audience a definite answer. I guess it's up to us to decide for ourselves.

Well, unfortunately I can't help you. Maybe we'll get some answers on the Sound Episodes, and stuff like that? Otherwise it was really open-ended, so it's up to us if we'll jump to conclusions or not. Anyway, what matters is that I thought of the WCS skit when I watched it too! Supporting reason: Lelouch promised C.C. that he'll fulfill her contract to grant one of her wishes. In Turn24, C.C. said "Hurry and go, then come back. You promised to make me smile, right?" Lelouch will definately keep his promises. Rejoice!

I have been thinking about this a lot since the episode when C.C. almost gives up her code to the Emperor. Doesn't Lulu say something about "knowing her true wish"? I wonder if her true wish is like what her Geass was, in that she wishes to be loved. It seems to make more sense than wishing to die. Just in how things all turned out in the end. Maybe at times she wished to die, but I think that the "death wish" is what most immortals would probably end up wanting. C.C. has changed a lot throughout the series, however, and I think (ok hope) that she realizes that death isn't what she really wants. Mainly because I think Lulu could grant her wish.

Either that or Lulu is dead in the World of C or w/e it's called gettin' busy with his ladies Euphemia and Shirley. What a troll.
