For me, Innocent Days and Stories will always make me instantly think og CG. That said, Continued Story will always mean the most to me, thanks to it being played during 'that' scene.
So, for the first poll I voted Stories, for the second, IT WILL FOR ME.
Ah, thank God I'm not the only one going nuts over Madder Sky. >.>
To think, before Turn 25, I didn't even like Madder Sky and now all I can hear is that, the music between it and Continued Story and then the Continued Story. *cry*
I totally get what you mean about those 3 songs! Whenever I hear Madder Sky all I can think of is when Lulu and Suzaku are talking about Geass being like wishes, then I'm like- ;_____;
FUCK YES. Those 2 songs made the episode (AND ENTIRE SHOW BECAUSE OF THAT) awesome.
;_; Listening to those songs foreverrrrrrrrrr.
Dude, I took 3 tests today and all throughout all of my tests Continued Story kept playing in my head. It made me not-concentrate ALOT. And I kept thinking about Code Geass and then almost cried in the middle of my test before I looked at the clock, and was like "WAIT, FUCK, WHAT I HAVE 10MIN LEFT? SHITTT"
Voted for Boku wa Tori ni Naru. As much as I LOVE LOVE Continued Story, it always make me cry whenever I hear it ;_____; And HELL YES Continued Story will ALWAYS be associated Code Geass
I'm torn between Boku wa tori ni naru and Continued Story cause I love them both but i voted for boku wa tori ni naru Continued Story makes me cry and i'm listening to it now ;_; and it will always be associated with Code Geass
Other than Continued Story, which I really loved, I didn't really like any of her other songs that much, although maybe I'll try some more of them again.
This poll is quite biased since most people are coming right off of watching episode 25 for the umpteenth time and playing Continued Story on loop on their mp3 player.
I voted for Stories because it left the greatest impression on me, even if it was the first Hitomi Code Geass song that I heard. I still love the song over a year later, so that does speak volumes about its beauty.
The first parts of Continued Story are pretty good, but in my opinion the chorus could've been more polished. Sounded heavier, perhaps.
Boku wa, Tori ni Naru. was saved by its stronger second half. Just the airy singing with music box music was okay, but not very impacting on its own. The second half gave the song the sense of emotional liberation.
I never liked Hitomi songs honestly, except for "Continued Story." "If I Were A Bird" does make me teary-eyed as well, but the only one I would listen to if it wasn't in Geass would be Continued Story.
Oh, and I agree wtih lijianliang that this may be very biased right now. :/
I have to agree "continue stories" when I first heard it through the OST [since it was released before episode 25 came out]. I choose "Boku wa Tori ni Naru" over it... but now... it becomes a tie... and that song is now stuck in my head ;___;
Though I couldn't choose which one is my fav ^^;; Stories, Boku wa Tori ni Naru and continue stories [after watching episode 25] are all my fav.
I'm going for Stories. The scene that Continued Story plays in is amazing, but I find Stories itself to be the better song (even though the lyrics are liek wut?).
im was madly in love with "innocent days" since 2007 october when i finished S1 code geass, i loved it cuz it played as backgrund music for C.C in ep25 end which was soo sad, but now my favorite is "Boku wa tor ni naru", it make me cry whenever i listen to it and i found it sadder than "innocent days"
When I'm just judging the song and putting aside the context they were played in, the it goes to Innocent Days. It's always been a favorite of mine. Continued Story follows right after though and certainly has the most meaning for me. Both these tracks are ones that I strongly associate with CG.
I really loved Stories, but whether or not it's better is overshadowed by the fact that Continued SoryIS Code Geass now, in many fans' eyes. It will probably continue to be the song that makes me most emotional after the end of the series.
Aside from that, I thought that Sensibility was pretty awesome, even if they never played it in the series.
Continued Story. I loved it before the final episode, when the OST first came out. The flute at the introduction was just way too beautiful. Final ep doesn't help much. Second favorite would probably be Sensibility. I was very much disappointed that it never appeared.>_>
And, just thought I should mention it, my favorite non-Hitomi Geass song just HAS to be Madder Sky. The violins, tuba, trumpets....EVERYTHING was so perfect.;_;
Sensibility is probably my favorite, even if it never appeared in the show. Continued Story just seemed so ill-fitting to me, at least the way it opened. As far as 'song the irrevocably always make me teary when I remember the ending' I'm going with Madder Sky.
This poll is skewed towards Continued Story because people hasn't gotten over Turn 25 :3
Stories remain my favourite since S1 because one of the reasons I like Geass is that song. As a standalone song, it's realy good. And as a Geass song... Euphy ;_; (Zero! Zero! Zero!)

Though I do have an attachment to Madder Sky, but that's not Hitomi related.
