Notes: Well everyone is inspired at this point of time, and I would like to celebrate the end of Code Geass with a short series, for three ficlits. But unlike all the fics out there I'm going to write Gino/Suzaku ^^, which I have discovered to be my OTP! Anyhoo, its about Suzaku and Gino after the events of the last episode of R2, I'm putting the story time line as approximately a year later. Enjoy ^^

Revelation

Sunset. The closing of another endless day. Sometimes he wonders how Lelouch did it, being Zero was an infinite cycle of stress and loneliness, and sometimes he wondered how long it would be before he lost every shred of his sanity.

He, however new that would never happen, he could not afford to let it happen, Zero was the glue that held the fragile shards of the world together, and he alone.

He has his hand ready to remove the stifling mask, when a loud clatter of commotion echoed form outside his door, and before he had a chance to blink, the door was open and the cause of the chaos was standing within his study.

It took the guards a few seconds to catch up to the former Knight of Three, who now made no attempt to fight them of.

"What ... What is the meaning of this?"

"I don't know my lord, he just barged in saying-"

"I just have something to say to you" says the intruder, quite simply, with a smile He's all too used to seeing on his face.

The man behind the mask, swallows silently, before giving his nod of approval. The guards retreat silently. He puts the hand; that he he realized was still on his face, ready to remove his mask, down, clears his throat, and looks at the taller man.

"You say, you have something to say to me-"

"I know, who you are" plain and simple, classic Gino, he did not beat around the bush with fancy words and riddles, he just got to the point of the matter without a moments hesitation.

"Well of course you do" he answers, trying to keep the panic out of his voice.

"What I mean is I know its you ... I'd know your voice anywhere, even coming form behind Zero's mask"

He drew a breath in, before he could stop it, and prayed that it did not sound as sharp as it had echoed inside the mask, however the new twinkle in the eyes of the other man, confirmed that his prayers went unheard.

"I ... I don't know what you are talking about" this time he was not sure if his voice shook or not.

"Suzaku" he stated, effectively removing all the ambiguity of the situation.

Well there was nothing to it now, he could deny it, but there was something in that look on Gino's face that told him it would be an unnecessary waste of breath. He sighed heavily, admitting defeat. 

"How did you know it was me?" asks Suzaku.

The truth of the matter was Gino, had never believed that Suzaku had died, it could be interpreted as denial, but there was just something wrong with the situation. He however did not have the time to prove his theory to be correct, since he along with everybody else who had tried to stand against the former 99th Emperor had been captured, and imprisoned.

However when Zero had appeared on the day he was to be executed, a little hope sparked to life, there was just something about the way this Zero moved, they way he held his sword, he had known Suzaku for too long; perhaps not as long as he would have liked, too well, not to notice the similarities between the two, and then there was that moment when Lelouch stopped fighting for his life, his face no longer distorted in its his previous grimace, why it almost looked like he was smiling...

He will admit he did not know Lelouch at all, he knew Suzaku, and he knew of the relationship that existed between him and the former terrorist. He just that this feeling, if Lelouch were to die at the hands of another, then he could think of only one person who he would choose to give the honor to.

However in the months that followed, he had been too busy and didn't think Suzaku, if it truly was him, had much time on his hands either. However he could no longer live never knowing the truth, that is why he was here today, standing in front of the masked defender of justice.
Smiling more that he had done for a while, he had found his Suzaku.
