I carefully aligned a picture of Nunnally standing with her wheelchair picture until they were in the same scale. Then I pasted it onto an official height chart to get a pretty good approximation of her height:

Her height is roughly 154cm (~5'1"). I hope this helps other people who'd like to get a frame of reference for Nunnally. ^^

To this date, the only official stats ever released for Code Geass are Lelouch = 178cm, Suzaku = 176cm, and Rolo = 170.5cm/51kg
If anyone knows other official weight/height stats, please share~

...I hope this isn't a frivolous post. =X

Since I'm being made to cosplay Nunnally for an upcoming event, I did research on her actual height. No official height is given, so I decided to work Photoshop magic on her. I'm rather particular about cosplaying characters who are within +/- 3cm of my height. I'm 155cm tall, so huzzah! Nunnally = cosplay-able XD

If someone can tell me where the height chart originally came from (I grabbed it off 4chan a while back), I'll be able give this post the right magazine scan tag.

For some reason, Lelouch being taller than Suzaku is weird. XD

Same. I find it funny xDDD

You forget the Lelouch = Britannian, Suzaku = Japanese, and therefore Lelouch > Suzaku in terms of height...if you go by Sunrise's logic.

And sadly, according to DarkMirage and his merciless dry humor:

"In real life, Suzaku would be a short Asian character and a whole lot less menacing."

Oh, poor Suzaku. But he'd still be taller than average, right?

...I need to find this review. Please link me?

Lol, the 'short Asian character' is very, very true...define taller than average, please. Because when you're asian, 150 cm is pretty much average. @.@

Yeah, the comment on "short Asians" is in DarkMirage's review of R2 episode 20:

150 cm, eh? (Looking up conversion to feet.) Oh, good god. I certainly hope that's not average for Asians. Isn't anything under 5 feet considered...borderline midget?

Thankyou!

Oh, oops, I should have converted it to feet to begin with...I'm just too used to using the metric system (which I believe it is called...it could be the imperial system, but I'm terrible with this kind of stuff).

I don't know, I myself am 150 cm, and within my circle of friends (who are all asian, lol), I'm pretty much on the average, boderline 'short' side. I say borderline 'short' as the last time I visited Vietnam everyone was...short. Shorter than me. Short enough that I could almost have been considered 'tall.'

You would not believe how unbelievably happy I was...until I came back to Australia. D:

Hehe, no, conversion should not be necessary, really---I'm just an ignorant American who doesn't understand SI. At all.

But wow, I should go to Vietnam, too! That would make me feel borderline happy about my height (about which I've never been borderline happy). I'm Asian, too, and 5'4"...hang on, I want to get better with this whole centimeter business....so that would be about 165 cm? Hehehe, now if I can do that without cheating and finding an online converter....that will be the next step. :D
Date/Time: 2008-10-14 09:04 (UTC)Posted by: [identity profile] elynis.livejournal.com
Ooooh, I am so bad. 5'4" would be more like 162 cm. This is a learning process....hehehe.

...really? Wow, my friends and I are really short, then.

I feel your pain. I'm only half Taiwanese and stand at no more than 155cm. My boyfriend however is a freak (he's Japanese) at 203cm -.- I get used as an arm rest a lot.

150cm = average Asian must be a very outdated notion. Nowadays my brother and most of his friends (college students) are 170cm or more. Women are generally shorter, but a lot are about 160cm. I'm a 170cm female myself.

In fact, in the "Code Geass dream cast" thread I made some time ago, the actor I picked for Suzaku is listed at 183cm. Disclaimer: Actors sometime fake their stats, but it shouldn't be too far from that.

...and when I say Asian, I mean to narrow it down to Indonesian.

Not quite outdated really. In Hong Kong the gils are all around the 150-160ish area, and it's not that uncommon for someone to be in the 140s. I'm 152cm myself, and I find people who are shorter than me. Maybe we've just got midget in our blood though. XD

Well, adding to the ethnicity discussion, Lelouch is also a few months older thatn Suzaku XD About.... 7 I believe XD
