 Death’s Bliss

    Lelouch could hear the shouts of the people cheering, as well as the sound of his sisters' sobbing, as he literally felt the lifeforce ebbing from him, his eyes feeling heavier as they began to close.

“…Gomen..everyone..and Nunnaly..I’m sorry..forgive your brother…I love you.” he murmured, his eyes finally closing..forever

“Welcome home…Nii-san.” a soft familiar voice chimed in his ear.

“..R..Rolo?” he asked as his eyes opened wide in shock…”but I..you…”

“Hai…I promised you I would never leave you nii-san..I never left your side, and now I wanted to be the first to greet you.” he said giving Lelouch a sincere smile.

“Rolo…arigatou…I don’t deserve your affection.” He said, his spirit reaching out for Rolo’s hand, who took his hand in turn.

“I missed you nii-san..” his soft voice murmured before he hugged Lelouch tightly.

    Lelouch smiled and ruffled his hair while hugging him back. “I missed you too..” he said softly. “I guess you finially got your wish ne? It’s just the two of us together now..no interruptions.”

    Rolo grinned. “…well not QUITE everything…” he murmured, before leaning up, placing his lips atop Lelouch’s before Lelouch could pull away.

    Lelou’s eyes quickly widened, his lips trembling in surprise at first before slowly closing , his lips pressing back softly against Rolo’s, before pulling away after a moment. “…Rolo?” he asked still slightly surprised.

“I love you…Lelouch..” he said softly. “I don’t expect you too feel the same, but as long as I can stay by your side…”

“Aa…aishiteru..Rolo” he said quietly as he pulled him close. “I’m just sorry I never saw what was beside me while I still had it…and I never meant those words of hatred I yelled at you..but I will say..I’m also happy that this is how things ended…perhaps there is a chance for a happy ending after all..” he said looking down at the younger boy, who had tears in his eyes and a happy smile on his face…for once neither of them were truly alone and both were truly loved.

That was sweet, but the japanese words flushed in the text made me laugh and then rage at an unbelievable level.
