Code Geass meets GUN×SWORD

***You don't have to know GUN×SWORD to understand what's going on here, but it helps. But for those who are curious, it is yet another Taniguchi Goro series, though not under Sunrise. And many of the people who worked on CG came from there (including Kimura Takahiro and Nakagawa Koutarou). It's almost like CG without CLAMP. LAWL I PIMP MAH OBSCURE FANDOM. XD

So a friend of mine saw this vid (it's technically not a vid; more of a slide show) of G×S art manipulated to include CG characters. Since the art was also drawn by Kimura-san, some of you may not see that they are manipulated, especially if you don't know G×S. Also scanned by my friend is this pic, which was manipulated in the vid. DOES HE NOT LOOK LIKE KANON Anyhow, I think these manips might make good icons *nudge, nudge* XD Did I mention that the background song is also by Kuroishi Hitomi?

And another one of my friends is convinced that Lancelot is the love child of two mechas from G×S. Click here!

That's a bit wrong I think. GunXSword came out first... it was after GunXSword ended, that Code Geass came out ^^ I know coz I watched GunXsword ;p

Oh yeah, you also failed to mention that there's two GunXSword seiyuu made it to Code Geass, namely Sakurai Takahiro & Hoshi Souichirou. Oh yeah, Hoshi voice Michael, the Kanon look-alike ^^

That's really nifty seeing as I've only recently gotten into GunXSword (Mostly because there was a article about Geass in a Newtype issue I bought not too long ago) and I thought it looked rather intresting.

I'm finding out alot about this show which collides into my many other fandoms. Van has the same VA as Jack Atlus from YGO 5D's

Okay. Mental image of Lelouch in Van's outfit. XD Nonono, that can't be possible. Lulu is too weak, but then again, we did see him toward the end running up the stairs without getting tired...

I've yet to finish GxS (I was watching it through my library and they didn't have the last two DVDs T_T), but wow, I couldn't even tell for most of the slideshow pictures which character it originally was. (Though I lol'd at the bathing suit picture and Charles as the Claw XD)

... And I definitely did not notice until now how much Kanon and Michael look alike o_o;; *feels ashamed* Thanks for sharing! ^_^

Gun x Sword! ♥ It does have similarities with Code Geass, but GxS was a lot better executed IMO, although CG was infinitely more entertaining.

Execute. Heh. DANN OF THURSDAY - *shot* But in an interview I read, Taniguchi-san wanted this series to be straight to the point. CG was far from that, on the other hand. XDDDD At least it had loads of crack.

Well, GxS is pretty cracky itself, but it didn't stray from its purpose (kill clawman who killed my fiance, find my brother, etc.), and didn't write itself into corners. CG totally strayed from its original purpose (create world where Nunnally is happy, overthrow Britannia, C.C.'s real name --> LELOUCH MUST DIE FOR OUR SINS) and had so many corners it was a pentagon (Mao, China-arc, Rolo, Ragnarok Junction, etc.) It kind of pisses me off since if you combined GxS's direction and writing with CG's characters and premise, it would have legendary, and Taniguchi totally had the potential to do it.

. . . and also probably why Schneizel never ended up piloting a mecha in CG. SINCE IT'S SHAPED LIKE A VAGINA AND IS PILOTED BY POLE DANCING. XD

True. Episode 17, for one, was made of utter CRACK. XD Hmmm...true, CG became really...diverse.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the similarites between the two! Because Kannon is so Michael, that when he first appeared I was like 'Michael what are you doing here?' XD And now that I think about it, Wendy looks like Nunnally, Priscilla looks like Shirly with pink hair, the Claw Man and the Empreror seem to be one and the same, and Woo looks like he could be Xing-ke and Schneizel's love child! *shot*
