I love this person's fanart's and they opened up so many new pairing possiablities. I mean Asahina/Shirley ... its something new, and I'm quite liking it.
LOL, I'm quite blushing right know because I know I started shipping Shirley and Shogo for the most stupid reasons (http://levyrasputin.livejournal.com/103619.html#cutid1), but the more I think about it, I get persuaded (lol, the power of HUMAN MIND! XD) it could work... One thing we know for sure is that Shirley likes guys with a very strong, spiky, quite showing-off and quiet yet rebel personality, guys she likes to scold yet to mother in a way, and Asahina can provide her all of this. ... also, Shirley is apparently a very delicate woman, but has a lot of hidden strenght. We do not know a lot about Asahina, but from the few we know, we might speculate that he values very much integrity and moral strenght, and Shirley has plenty. He might appreciate a woman that make you want to protect her, but is gifted with a strong and pure heart. Assuming that this happens in a What if? universe where they both survived the war,one thing that brings up interesting questions is.. how they would deal with the issue of Lelouch..? Shirley would surely been in search of a lot of answers concerning Lelouch, and she'd surely suffering a heavy emotional burden because of all his history. Well, Shogo is one of the few people that are part of the very same history. Maybe they'd never speak about it, but if they do, there is a possibility that the outcome of a confrontation about Lelouch could be positive for both of them. Shirley surely has the capability to forget the rude words Asahina would be very likely to address Lelouch with, and helping him see some of the reason behind the actions of a man he surely despise very much. On the other hand, Shogo knows awfull things about Lelouch that maybe would make Shirley more conscious of what Lelouch really did and help her to overcome the sense of guilt for not have been able to save him, someway. There's so much Lelouch has started already, by the time Shirley decided to stop him, it was not possible for him to get back to the start, but maybe she needs someone to tell her that, and there's none around her that could do this, not even Nunnaly.
