Code Geass : A News and Fan Community

To follow up from my post from a month ago, the amazon.co.jp page for the R2 DVD Box Set has finally been updated with the official cover art.

( And it's just as pretty as the first set )

So that's Lelouch (as Emperor) with Suzaku (as Knight of Zero) and C.C. (in that CLAMP dress) on one side, and Xingke, Tianzi and a bunch of Britannians on the other. Sorry Black Knights, you don't rate an appearance.

The official site hasn't yet been updated with these pictures or the complete art, though.

ETA: This site here has some kind of deal going on where you can buy both series box-sets together for 39,900 yen (Note: Not actually a discount at all), and you get a free A3 poster throne.

Amazon.co.jp has recently been updated with some information about some Japanese DVD Box-Sets for both seasons of Code Geass, which can be seen here:
- First Season.
- R2.


Both box-sets will contain all 25 episodes each on 6 disks, with the first set also having the two filler "recap" episodes. They both retail for 19,950 yen, 14,673 yen after the Amazon discount.

Looking at the Amazon pages, the special features on these box-sets are going to be very limited, however they will each include a 32 page booklet, new box art by Takahiro Kimura, and 2 different (and I believe new) special promotional videos for the Boukoku no Akito gaiden. That's one different video on each season's box-set.

The box art for R2 isn't on display yet, but you can see the first season's art already.

The first season's box-set is due out on the 27th January, 2012. R2 is due on the 24th February.

ETA: The Offical Code Geass website now has information up about the website, as well as that box-set illustration all in one flat piece of art.

I found the link to this on amazon.jp floating around, and it appears to be the new Blu-ray cover for that Lelouch's Birthday event (Due to come out April 23).

And hey, new art with Lelouch and Suzaku and Kallen and C.C. in shiny new clothes. And random white cloth everywhere.

I think I'd like to see a bigger version of that without the writing over it.
