Someone should tell Sunrise that the main reason their stuff get popular worldwide is due to fandom. At least I've started watching Geass after seeing a friend's fanart of Lelouch.

And then I've spent 30 dollars in official Geass merchandise :D, they shouldn't be complaining!

Hope it doesn't affect non-Japanese sites... I mean, I can't post fanart on their sponsored sites by the simple fact that I don't know Japanese o_O.

The reason I even started to watch Code Geass (and Gundam 00 too) was because of all fanart I saw.

I believe that fancreations is a way for an anime to continue to 'live on', even after the show itself has ended.
