What does the name Lelouch mean?

It sounds French in origin to me. Yet when I tried to look it up on baby names sites, it doesn't turn up anywhere. Is it a real name or is it just made up by the author of CG?

I was more thinking of a way for people to say "red light district" without getting weird looks. Like, standing on the busiest street in NYC and saying, "Hey man let's go to Lelouch Lamperouge tonight!"

...although Lulu the prostitute wouldn't be too shocking, given the way his hips move.
