As I couldn't find the answer through tags or many entries back...(or maybe I suck at looking)
But does anyone know if there is a religion in the Code Geass world? If so, do we know the name of it?

Well, it's called the Holy Empire of Britannia and there are churches and nuns so I'd assume there is one...

but it's never really explored much. :/

This goes into our general lack of knowledge regarding Geassverse history. AFAIK, we pretty much only know:
- the ancient Britannians (Celts, I guess) repelled Caesar in Britain, so there was likely never the Roman province called "Britannia" (lol irony)
- the Tudors continued after Elizabeth I with at least Henry IX
- Napoleon was successful in kicking the Britannians out of the British Isles and whatever Continental possessions they had

If we use these paltry details to extrapolate things out...
- Christianity likely still existed, supported by the existence of nuns and churches like snowdevil_crow said. (Other major real-life religions probably also existed simply because it's easy to imagine how medieval Britannia would have had little effect on the rise of those religions.)
- If the Tudors existed, then Henry VIII existed. And if Henry VIII existed, then the Anglican (Britannian?) Church existed.

Of course, these are wildly-unsupported theories whose primary supporting arguments are "the show didn't say anything to the contrary lol". Also, butterfly flapping its wings, etc.

I agree with the above commenters~ We also know Christianity exists because Lloyd makes reference to a practice where the pre-Meiji Japanese government made Japanese smash Christian idols etc to prove they weren't of that heathen unwanted religion.

I remember some claim that Cornelia uses the word "god" in a way that indicates that she doesn't believe in God The Almighty Powerful Singular Being, but perhaps more like "gods"? Which would go along with our World of C "validated" religion, and indicate that the current Britannians are not (at least not significantly, since the royalty isn't) Christian. But I can't verify this; I haven't listened for it myself.

At any rate, my personal theory is that Christianity exists, but didn't really catch on and sweep the world the way it did in our version of Earth.

It's the episode where they finish off the Japan Liberation Front. Suzaku is ordered to wipe them out completely, no mercy, not even if they beg or surrender, and Lloyd sort of sidles up behind him and giggles about how it's a fumie -- the act of smashing the Christian idol, e.g. "prove you're not Christian by stepping on this idol", prove you're not on the side of the Japanese by stepping on the Japan Liberation Front. XD

I think Christianity/Roman Catholicism existed. It would explain the reason why the empire was called Holy Empire of Britannia. To get that Holy Empire title, one must be under the Pope or something? I'm not very sure but I've got a feeling that it's a prevalent religion.

Yeah I agree, there's Shinto in Geass-world. And also Christianity I guess, cause Nunnally said something about a Pope in a picture drama before. But I think all religions exist in Geass-Universe, because Zero repeatedly use the word religions in his speeches.

I remember that in the picture drama where nunally and lelouch met suzaku for the first time, nunally asked lelouch, during the time he was clinging the stairs of the Kururugi shrine, if just as in Britannia (where the emperor was head of church), the prime minister of Japan was the head of the Church. So I always assumed christianity was the official religion. I would guess anglican since the monarch is head of church.
About Cornelia, the fact she said there is no god in this world doesn't mean there isn't a religion.
