What draws you to Geass?

Why yes we are a poll. And yes I do live here. After reading something verity_isle said about people watching Geass for the lulz only and following most of the anime blogs, I asked myself why I watch Geass. I realized the answer has changed from the time I started watching the series to just after the Mao arc, when Geass suddenly became my *show* as I once viewed my other fave Naruto. So as usual, I have two questions to pose:


1. Why did you originally start watching Geass? When might be cool to know too since I know we have people here since October and others who recently marathoned the whole thing. It seems to me when a person started watching Geass partially determines the why.

2. Why do you stick with Geass AKA what do you love about it?


For me, I started with Geass sheerly because 1.)it was Clamp, 2.)Lelouch looks like Kamui and 3.)I love Kamui no matter what hell he puts me through. I did originally just watch it for the WTFery, although I always adored Lelouch. Now I admit I'm into the political intrigue and just how Lelouch is going to screw himself deal with things next. I might add more to this later but I'd rather hear some others first.

...I wasn't going to say this (stay on topic, Vye...heh heh :D) but as other people have mentioned withdrawal for Gundam Seed I will. ^-^ Code G is kinda my substitute for Garakan which had concluded. I like the two series for the same essential reasons, as outlined above, so Code G's similarity with it's large cast, good plot and grey morality made it a good substitute, and now I like Code G as much, in it's own right! :D

Omg, Vetti and Schneizel would be a truly evil combination! XDDD They're both blonde and cute and very smart and rather gentle looking and ... well, Vetti is definitiely crazy. XD But Vetti is already an Emperor. Would Schneizel like to play catch up? XD

I think every Britannian Royal is insane somewhere deep down, so that's accounted for. XD As for playing catch-up....I imagine he would, isn't the entire upbringing of his family centered on getting ahead? >:]

Yes. Yes we are. ^-^ Hell, Garakan's plot would have had much less drive were it not for Vetti's obsessive quest to make Michel his boyfriend crush the rebellion against his Empire. He needs someone. XDD
