Code Geass was named Best TV anime series at the 6th Annual Tokyo Anime Awards. The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi and Death Note were the other 2 winners. Other info here.

wow... they actually suck giving all of those awards to the same anime... Sounds a little bit like the Japanese Acadamey Awards...
