Mmm no, I don't really think so. Will agree with the rest on how it's all very subjective.

I found her mildly annoying at first, to be honest, but her relationship with Lelouch was sweet and the death scene was brilliant. Ultimately I feel her value as a character was still there since, as someone mentioned earlier, she is an excellent reminder to Lelouch that innocents will still get caught up in conflicts.

And I love how she represented the average, "normal" girl who bears a true yearning to understand the boy that she likes.
