So at 7 am this morning Pacific Standard Time, it was midnight on Christmas in Japan, so the Geass stage show site now has lots of new information: http://www.geass-stage.net/pc/ticket/index.php

The site is not yet fully done (some links are currently disabled, including buying tickets on the site but I'll get to that in a bit). But it includes information on the story, cast (currently Lelouch and Suzaku), staff, and tickets.

My reading comprehension in Japanese is pretty awful, but looking at that ticket page it seems like from 10am Japan time December 25th (5pm PST 8pm EST Dec 24) until 6pm January 3rd tickets will be available for pre-order or reserve exclusively from Family Mart. (Please correct me if I'm reading that wrong, and will update as any helpful people provide translations)
I imagine that after that tickets will be available through the site but I don't know.

Premium tickets are 9800 yen, S-seat tickets are 7800 yen, A-seat tickets are 6800 yen, and balcony seats where you may be unable to see everything are 3800 yen.

(I'm actually going to be in Tokyo on the 7th and 8th because it's the end of my honeymoon, and I want to see this like burning, so I'm watching this stuff like a hawk. Updates will be given as relevant translations are posted in the comments and if the site changes at 10am Japan time)

ETA: Apparently tickets can be purchased through the site and are available for delivery, but the address entry form only allows for a Japanese postal code and prefecture. So it looks like you have to be in Japan to get tickets right now.

I have so many feelings about this (and the cast so far), most of which can be summed up as . It might be good, might be a trainwrek, but either way, it's certified to be an entertaining.

Cosplay people use wigs they've spent hours styling to look non-realistic. I get the sense that the stage play actor people are trying to make Suzaku's hair hold some semblance of realism.

Even if this is Code Geass and realism is plain impossible. lmao

Still, if it somehow ends up on Youtube or smth, I'll def be watching. Since there's no way I'd be able to get there to see it live.
