I started Code Geass two days ago, finished it yesterday, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Meta normally doesn't appeal to me (I prefer fic), but this series has a pretty messy plotline, and I had a hard time even grasping a good feel for the characters. The entire Lelouch vs Suzaku storyline in particular strikes several chords in me, and I'd love to further explore it if possible.
CC once asked Lelouch what he'd do if he had to choose between bringing vengeance to the people who killed his mother and destroying Britannia, and Lelouch said that there were no differences between the two. That statement leads me to assume that ONE, Lelouch is absolutely certain that a royal is behind the murder, TWO, the reason why a royal would perform such an action is a direct result of the Emperor's enforced philosophy of inequality, and THREE, killing the Emperor is the same as removing Britannia's rotten core and everything else can be fixed from there.
Several flaws exist, obviously.
