Since I love Episode 6 so much and figure we should all share the love for such things, I've done a jury-rigged translation of Episode 6's dialogue. But don't believe in it too much. I did most of the work between 1 AM-4 AM and 7 AM-8PM the next morning, so you can expect that it's not going to be the best English I've ever wrote. My listening skills are hideously rusty, so I couldn't make out many places at all, and some lines don't make sense to me---this is the person to whom 「今は亡きマリアン皇妃が長子」 didn't make sense until the fifth viewing---and places where I'm not sure or a sentence is heavily paraphased to fit into English are marked with []. Including places where I don't understand outright, of course.
And so on forthwith to the crack!

What the Emperor said is interesting as aside from the map, it does suggests that Brittania is a sort of AU America, though...I don't know...I think it's look is more European, but there you go. :) And Europe is another state and China.
Nina was interesting in this episode; she's been a bit of a nothing character so far, but she really was scared of Suzaku being Japanese...or maybe it was his connection to the assassination, as she said. I think Nanly was a bit shocked. She didn't look that won over at the end either. She'd be an interesting enemy within, as she's such a squeaky little mouse.
I bet you General Gifford didn't just let Jeramiah go like that. >:) *snerk*

I agree, yeah. She has 'we have some business with her---love, scenario writer' written all over here. I think it'd be interesting if she's the one used to explore that particularly nasty side of Imperialism and "What, you're an Arab?" I figure she's going to have a big role to play, and Lelouch wouldn't notice it until Nanaly tells him/things blow up.

It all did surprise me somewhat though; sure he did some (from the outsiders point view) crazy things, but they were blatantly out of character for him, and considering how Lelouch Geassed his way into Clovis' very chambers, there have to be, by now, quite a lot of men and women in the Britannian army who have a similar experience of memory loss and doing out of character things like abandoning posts etc.
And what about Violet; I mean...she gave Lelouch her mech and didn't recall doing so but she did remember him being there, and she saw him (on the Nightmare's screens and in person) before the Geass eye was used. I don't recall Lelouch telling her to forget him....did he? If not, she'd surely recall the lone Britannian student in the room of corpses just before...
I think Brittania actually have the information to put some idea of what happened together, if they all communicated on this.
If it turns out to be true that Geass can't be used twice, Jeramiah and Violet are surely going to be important to Brittania, though they don't know it yet.
