All I can say is... Whenever I think Geass has gone as far as they can on the slash/femmeslash spectrum, they still manage to surprise me. I think I saw the top picture in a yaoi once...

I usually consider doujinshi to have more coherence than comic anthologies. The focus is usually on different things, even for crack doujinshi...but it seems we have different ideas of what makes a doujinshi? XD

But you know, this one looks better put together than most comic anthologies out there. Maybe it'll be nice.

(I actually do not like Kouga Yun. But it is amusing that Majiko is doing Knight and Nightmare of Nunnally's mangaka is doing Queen. XD)

I guess so? XD In my case, I consider doujinshi something which is purely fanservice and by different artists not related to the actual series. I've heard of artists doing doujinshi out of their own work, whatever that means. O_o;; Some mangaka are fans of a series and draw art for the series, so I consider those as fanart. xD (e.g. shoujo mangaka Shinjou Mayu once drew Lelouch fanart in a mag)

I am</> looking forward to these anthologies, I must say. Fanservice calls for me!

(Me neither. I thought Loveless was boring. ._.)

Well...artists doing doujinshi out of their own work would probably be like....if a fanficcer publishes a novel and then writes an off-canon fanfic on it? I know I'd want to do that, if only to explore other possibilities. XD I do consider those fanart, too---CLAMP did doujin for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and that made it into CLAMP in Wonderland, after all. (Actually, I believe the mpreg son of the doujinshi made it in) It's the whole 'endorsed by the official creator' thing that makes the difference for me.

(I've been reading her before Loveless, and she's been....on-and-off boring and entertaining in spades. Too uneven for me. Plus her art is bland.)
