New Novel Series (sorry to butt in on the 24/25 discussions)

Code Geass and its many, many semi-canons----will they ever stop? Apparently not. Earlier today, the Code Geass website has announced a new light novel line, titled 朱の軌跡 (Ake no Kiseki, lit. Scarlet Tracks), with Kallen as the main character. The story will begin serializing in the August issue of The Sneaker Magazine, written by the same Iwase Mamoru who wrote Stage 0 and Stage 1. If the US Licensed Geass is to have the same dizzying-array-of-canon effect, localizers should have their hands full.

On a related subject, since it seemed to have gone under the radar when the book came out : Newtype Romance is also serializing Code Geass under the name 生徒会事件簿 (Seitokai Jikenbo, lit. The Student Council Case Files), written by 朝香 祥. I'm not sure how to read her name. At any rate, she's written a series of historical romances before and if the Romance of the Three Kingdoms books I read are any judge, she's pretty good at friendship banters. The story is about Lelouch and co. as they sleuth their way around ghost stories in the Ashford campus, and going by the first chapter, it can get pretty serious. No word on whether it'll be collected into a volume or when.

I'm also surprised nobody ripped the CD with Lulu and Rivalz cleaning the toilet.

Cleaning the toilet? Is that from the CD in Newtype Romance? Because I haven't taken the CD out of the envelope thing and listened to it. :D;;

They're actually cleaning the bathroom, but I'm not sure if it's the Student Council bathrooms with showers next to toilets or if it's separated. XD And yes, that's it. FukuJun and Sugiyama didn't sound totally like their characters in this one, but I think the bit with Rivalz telling Lulu the latter's been stalked by a lovesick grandma is pretty worth it.

Oh, they are in character, their voices just seemed a little off. Like FukuJun was trying too hard not to laugh, so his voice sounded a bit more airy than Lulu's. XD

Radio track... is it like the Newtype special?
I was mainly interested in the "Lelouch and Rivalz cleaning the toilet" track but if there aren't too many on the CD, and upload sites don't hate you and of course if it's not too much of a bother I'd take everything^^;; Please.

Similar, but not the same. The Newtype Special had the radio programs conducted by Lulu and Rivalz. Here, there are two radio tracks, but they're still conducted by FukuJun and Sugiyama. The other track is the drama track of Lelouch and Rivalz cleaning the toilet, though.

I'm just a bit sad that later fans who discover it after being localized wouldn't discover the joys of these crazy little things. XD They're great, aren't they?
