Not sure if this has been done but,

My review/comments on the first Code Geass novel, Stage -0- ENTRANCE, with crappy camera images and TONS of spoilers; walkthrough of the novel.

In the case anyone is interested. ;D

 Hello everyone,

There will be two Code Geass English language Manga paperback books published in late 2008 by the Bandi Entertainment company. Volume 1 is to be released on Tuesday, August 19th. And, volume 2 is to be released on Wednesday, Novemer 5th. The listed price for the two books is $9.99 each and they are both 180 pages long. You can click on the two Amazon.com links listed below to view the items:

Unfortunately, there is no further information on how many chapters are in the two books, etc. This information might be listed when it gets closer to the release date of the two books. Also, you should check the official US website for the Code Geass TV series, their link is (http://code-geass.bandai-ent.com/) to see if there will be any information posted on their News section about the two books. I am pretty sure that the Barnes and Nobles and Borders bookstore chains will carry the novels in their manga sections after their initial release.

Sincerely,
Pam
There is a light novel series that started being serialized in The Sneaker magazine in their June issue (published actually at the end of April due to the way Japanese magazines number their issues) dealing primarily with the Knights of Rounds. It's a little too long to fully translate, but contains some interesting information about the setting and characters.

While this is an official side story, I'm not sure if any of the information will come up in the anime series proper, and they may change details as necessary for the anime plot, so please take it with a grain of salt.

cut for length and spoilers )
Code Geass and its many, many semi-canons----will they ever stop? Apparently not. Earlier today, the Code Geass website has announced a new light novel line, titled 朱の軌跡 (Ake no Kiseki, lit. Scarlet Tracks), with Kallen as the main character. The story will begin serializing in the August issue of The Sneaker Magazine, written by the same Iwase Mamoru who wrote Stage 0 and Stage 1. If the US Licensed Geass is to have the same dizzying-array-of-canon effect, localizers should have their hands full.

On a related subject, since it seemed to have gone under the radar when the book came out : Newtype Romance is also serializing Code Geass under the name 生徒会事件簿 (Seitokai Jikenbo, lit. The Student Council Case Files), written by 朝香 祥. I'm not sure how to read her name. At any rate, she's written a series of historical romances before and if the Romance of the Three Kingdoms books I read are any judge, she's pretty good at friendship banters. The story is about Lelouch and co. as they sleuth their way around ghost stories in the Ashford campus, and going by the first chapter, it can get pretty serious. No word on whether it'll be collected into a volume or when.

I'm also surprised nobody ripped the CD with Lulu and Rivalz cleaning the toilet.

While strolling the web, I stumbled across a few pictures of Code Geass items I can't match to any content/would like to have clarification about.
I'd be very grateful if you could help me out! ^^

Thank you in advance! ^__^

A few days ago, [livejournal.com profile] jdiam posted the scans to Stage 0 : Entrance, aka Childhood Story Novel Edition. This post is therefore in much love to her! I didn't expect to do this so quickly, and originally intended to do so in printed order instead of picking excerpts from nowhere. (Besides, I'm supposed to be doing something else. Yikes)

After skimming through and finding this little thing, though, I decided to translate the part pronto. It certainly gives a whole new dimension to Lulu's seeming sister complex, his 'I'll never leave you'. He's not a siscon. He's just really, really, really scared. (And also on the whole Suzaku-Euphie-Nunnally-Himself thing; this is one fine mess, all right)

Warning : Translation is a little rough around the edges!

EDIT : Changed 'with goodwill' to 'without goodwill'. TYPOS ARE EPIC-LEVEL MONSTERS.

2010 - 5 - 14 : Nunnally has came down with a fever. )

Poor Lulu. If the boy has one more angst topic, I swear he'll turn into a CLAMP character.

Further points of interest in the novel, as far as I've skimmed around, included :

Below the cut! )

The book is structured in five sections.

found a really fun wallpaper online. no idea who made it but all credits to its maker :3

i love parodies XD (so from right top it's... something, death note, something... something, orange, pizza hut... does anyone have any idea what those "something" are parodies of? XD;;;)

on another note, I found camera shots of the geass novel, titled STAGE-0-ENTRANCE. it seems to tell a different reason for suzaku killing his father...? I haven't read it, so I'm not sure.

the pics are of readable clarity and size, so if you are able to read japanese novels, good for u XD;;;

and what a sacrifice the person made... tearing the pages apart to take the pictures @_@;;;
