Without your awesome translations I would have no idea what the sound episodes are on about xD Keep it up, otherwise Code Geass fans like me would be lost xD

Re: sound episode 6 download via mediafire or sendspace?
Alternatively, if you can use torrents, try searching for it on Tokyotosho. If you know how to use IRC, /j #LosslessOne on the rizon channel.

And I agree with you on both points there: 1) Rivalz finally graduates from the School of Who? and 2) The Final Invitation makes the end of 25 that much more painful... in a good way.

Granted he was talking about S.cry.ed (a hot-blooded manly man I-punch-you-you-punch-me show) there, but I somehow get the feeling he still thinks that way XD

I should really check for replies more often. Gah! Sorry, I really didn't mean to take them down for so long. I ended up procrastinating (like I always do) and eventually forgot to put them back up.
(I've just only realized I can actually check for new replies by clicking on 'Home', instead of checking each post >__> One of these days I really need to check out all the livejournal features -- but for now let me procrastinate fir-- *gets shot*)
For those who want to know what I did to the translations while they were down:
1. There are now 25 asterisks separating each translation from its translation notes, 10 asterisks for every scene change, and 5 #s for Shirley's fantasies. Yarrr, pointless, very pointless, but I can't sleep at night without knowing for a certainty that they're all of the same length.
2. The spacings before and after the translations are all consistent now.
3. All the ?!s in the early translations have been changed to !?s (used in the later ones)
4. All the translation notes before the text itself have been italicized.
5. What used to be called "Extras" in the early ones have been changed to "Thoughts" (which is more correct anyway)
6. The translation note for "Buriki" at the beginning of The Vanished Nunnally was added to The Uninvited Prince as well.
7. My annoying opinions that used to be in the translation text itself for the early scripts have either been removed entirely or shifted to the bottom of the script where they can be safely ignored.
8. Translation-wise, fixed 3 typos from Sound Episodes 1 and 2 and one translation error from The Name of the King (I hope that's all of them). For more info on this error, read the translation notes for it (it's the first one listed) I'm about 99.9999% sure everything else is correct. Either way I'm not touching these scripts anymore >__<
Thanks for being patient! More than that I'm kind of happy to know someone likes my translations this much >///< Well, I've run out of >__< smileys to abuse now, so enjoy, and remember to read the translation notes for The Name of the King!

thank you, thank you very much!

(And please re-read the translation notes for The Name of the King, if you have the time to spare-- I mistranslated a line from that track, which has now been corrected in the text itself. The error is discussed in the notes)
Could you make them available for me?

"Oh noes -- why are the translations gone!?
The Sound Episodes will be included in the US release of the (limited edition-only?) DVDs. No, I don't have the exact details >__>
Why you should LEGALLY OBTAIN the official ver. of the SEs, History Lessons, Sayoko's Diary etc.:
1. Professional translator(s) = Professional translations
2. No needlessly fangirly comments nobody wants to read
3. Because the Geass team deserves some support for all the work they did. Pretty please?
As of April 19th, 2008 the translations are, as you can see, no longer available here. I will not entertain any requests to rehost or repost them here or anywhere else. To those of you of questionable sanity who somehow have these translations saved, I ask that you do not redistribute them in any form. The same applies to all my questionable translations of the History Lessons and Sayoko's Diaries. I realize I am not in a position to enforce this in any way, so...
SUPPORT THE OFFICIAL DVDS, WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH!
Update 8/5/2008:
The purpose of this post is to inform all fans of Code Geass that the Sound Episodes can be obtained LEGALLY. I did not remove the translations fearing legal action from Bandai Entertainment (I doubt they have a case against me, anyway) -- I took them down because I want the fans to actually consider buying the DVD sets with the SEs. I apologize to all those who requested for a repost of the translations, but as mentioned earlier, I will NOT entertain any requests to rehost or repost them here or anywhere else -- for the time being. Perhaps they'll be up again someday, once all the SEs have been released in the States, just to show the difference between amateur fan-translations and professional ones.
Additionally, I consider the R2 Sound Episodes licensed as well. I will NOT be translating them. Please stop asking!
I know there are people redistributing the scripts on the internet; I can't do anything about that, obviously, but those of you who have them should be aware that some of the scripts are not the updated / corrected versions. The final versions of the scripts that were here before I took them down are, IMHO, noticeably different in translation-style from the initial pre-liberalized scripts. Also, some errors in translation were discovered and amended only months after the initial posting. Before anyone asks, no, I will not replace whatever faulty product you have right now. No refunds because I represent a shady organization and we don't do refunds, only scams.
No comments allowed now because I'm a real stuck-up snot. Or rather, I don't use lj all that often anyway, so instead of offending a bunch of people for seemingly not replying, I might as well not allow comments in the first place. No expectations = no betrayal of expectations! I are t3h smartz."

But at the same time, this is crazy-sad.
Though they're licensed, the English drama tracks were much easier to find. I'd rather listen to the Japanese voices with a translation in front! Otherwise, the magic is lost. SE 5&6 are not available yet in English, so pretty much, a fan like me won't get to hear what happens unless you can re-release the translations. I'd be so happy.
(Your rules don't allow me to beg, so I won't.)
