Newtype has summaries for Code Geass episode 7-10, and seeing that 10 hasn't been posted yet, I might as well post a rough(aka sucky) translation of it with the original text included to shield you from the suckiness. Possible spoilers?

Stage 10 Guren Mau (literally: Red Lotus Dance, Red Lotus being the Guren Nishiki Knightmare that Karen pilots)

Zero receives information that the Britannian Army is moving towards the Japanese Liberation Front's hideout, therefore he moves the Black Knights to attack them.(Please give your thanks to [livejournal.com profile] verity_isle for saving you guys from the horrid translation) But the Order of Black Knights - knowing the difference in power between themselves and the Britannian Army - were discouraged by the thought of "There's no way we can win". Still, for some reason, Zero is acting very calm.

We finally get to see the legendary(wtf?) Knightmare Guren Nishiki in this episode. Yay. In case you didn't know, Guren Nishiki(紅蓮弐式) is a Knightmare Frame that was given to Zero from Kyoto, while the pilot is Karen. It was an original Knightmare Frame from way back, and apparently, it's a better Knightmare than Sutherlands(x1.6). It has a very very weird design, and actually, I think it's looks a bit like a dinosaur.XD;; I mean, it's got claws and all those stuff, and its head is the shape of a....duck's beak.*is whacked* The pilot seat is also designed really weird. Karen has to kind of kneel down and lean forward in order to pilot it.

Anyway, enough of my rant. Let's all look forward to this ep.

Er. Ajito generally means 'hideout'.

The translation should be "Zero receives information that the Britannian Army is moving towards the Japanese Liberation Front's hideout, therefore he moves the Black Knights to attack them."

The rest is accurate as far as I know.

The episode is interesting. I am unhappy with Lulu getting a unique, personal mech, however. The interesting part has always been how a non-pilot leads the whole thing. Hopefully, it's just to mirror how the other

how the other generals have their unique mechs like old days knight-generals wear different clothes to be easily spotted.

LJ sucks.

Horns? Oh ho. My theory is that he's overcompensating, it's totally Freudian. >:] Yes I still haven't gotten over that sketch

I still really hope we still won't see Lulu piloting awesomely instead of commanding awesomely. Like, I know great generals can be great fighters and so on, but it's what gives him a different playfield than Suzaku.. :[

Hmm. He didn't choose the model by himself, though? It could be a command model from way back, and Cornelia's frame is an upgrade of it. Like the Sutherland is probably an upgrade of the old basic infantry model, etc.

Dang, Sunday cannot come fast enough. I go to Kino on Sunday.

Even decent is really pushing it with his background. XD Makes me wonder if the Knightmare Frames have plug and play technology, or were designed by Steve Jobs. For Suzaku...The story would be painfully boring if they follow the same "Zero stirs shit up! Lancelot comes to the rescue!" model each episode. He didn't go when Lelouch was fighting Cornelia in 7, right? Cornelia seems to dislike Elevens, so she probably wouldn't use Lancelot if she can help it. Suzaku has plenty of time to go a-rescuing in his manga, let Lelouch star in his anime.

Glasgow? They probably upgraded it, then, since IIRC the Glasgow wasn't as strong as the Sutherland (though it seems more versatile for guerrilla attacks). If he's added the horns himself, then he's either A) Overcompensating or B) Psychological warfare, as you said. Imitating/mocking the style of the other side's leader does have a strong effect on morale. And besides, it stands out.

Oh, I saw the Kallen comment now. XD; (Is replying from gmail) Awesome. Kallen is like Lulu's executive arm.

I actually wouldn't mind Lulu getting a cool command platform/unit if he doesn't go Lancelot-ing up the scene himself.

Please keep in mind that when Gundam SEED was airing, these episode summeries showed up in a few different magazines and always differed. Not only that, in the end most of them weren't even close to what actually happened. >__>

I think it's still worth posting, though. GS and CG are really by different teams, we don't know how much story they have in advance. Different writers. I don't know Oukouchi's work style, but wasn't GS/GSD's writer notorious for handing in the script late?

If Newtype's Episode 7-9 confirms what we've seen of summaries in the official site, I'd say we should rest a little easy. (Those are accurate, except the trick they pulled in ep6)
