Episode 8.5 had some new footage - mainly at the very beginning (before the credits) and at the end, bofore them. Part of said new footage includes text~
First, the poster:
"Wanted!

Dead Or Alive
Imperial Public Enemy No. 1
ZERO (Alias or Last Name Unknown)
For the Crimes of:
Rebellion Against the Empire
Subversion Against the State
Suspicion for the Murder of the High Prince Clovis
Several Counts of First Degree Murder
Violent Offenses - Bodily Harm - Assaulting (I think) with Offensive Weapons
And Several Other Charges
Any Citizens Who Come Across the Above Suspect Should Report Him Immediately!
0011-000-1115[etc.]"
Next the book/newspaper - I'm posting the most complete version of the paragraphs:
"Challenger to the Imperial Court
Who Is Zero?
A shocking incident has occured in broad daylight. On his way to Central Joint Government Building to answer questions as a suspect in the Murder of His Highness Prince Clovis, honorable Britannian heh, both gg and Shinsen had it wrong military officer Private Suzaku Kululugi (age 17) was abducted by an armed anti-Britannian group in full view of an entire company on strict alert. With the prestige of both the military and police on display, the incident happened while the attention of the imperial citizenry was fully focused on the escort. The ringleader of the abduction apparently goes by the name of "Zero," though his true identity remains unknown.
Just who is this masked man named "Zero" who has now claimed responsibility for the assassination of His Highness Prince Clovis? The least that can be said is that the skillful execution of the abduction of Warrant Officer Suzaku Kululugi, who has been detained by military authorities under suspicion of His Highness's Murder, is of a different class from previous acts of anti-imperial terrorism.
Definite evidence that Zero was in fact the one who murdered His Highness Prince Clovis has yet to be presented. Current suspicion is based on his own public confession. Nevertheless, both the public and military / police authorities clearly consider Zero to be the perpetrator of the murder. Also... the recent abduction of the suspect Kululugi - an action which can be called nothing short of something with eight letter and ends in 'cious' - calls to mind the assassination of His Highness, also in spite of strict security.
In addition, the method of the crime's execution has raised suspicions about possible collaboration from within the military. One name being mentioned is that of Margrave Jeremiah Gottwald [two words] was in charge of security [two or three words] Kululugi's escort. What [starts with 'int-',...] unaccountable [...] get away, almost as if he [...] Orange seem to indicate? [...] suspect Kululugi to be carried [..] that he is in secret communication [...]"
Magazine Cover:

o__O Interesting. The Orange subplot seems to be almost entirely magazine based. And Kululugi?

Kululugi. Japanese R/L at is classic-est. I purport a theory that in order to affirm their rights over how the language in their colony is supposed to work (Japan did this to us in WWII, pressuring us to cut off like...five letters?) they officially fixed the romanization to L. Just because L is easier to deal with when it's in kana mode?
