Because, "So?" Would look and sound really awkward with those mouth flaps. Don't see why it's a big deal, in that context it's pretty much the same thing. Just hearing that line alone is weird, yay, but when you hear it with the rest of the scene it'll make more sense.

Yeah I know that " so " would be awkward , I understand why they did it , it just felt funny. But as you say , when I'll hear the rest it will make more sense. well let's hope it does.
