Suzaku's mother?

Just a quick question that occurred to me earlier today...

Do we know anything about Suzaku's mother? We get the story of the Britannian royals and Kallen's family, and we know a bit about Kururugi Genbu (or at least enough to get a feel for his relationship with Suzaku), but nothing about his mom?

I found it kinda funny that in a show that revolves so much around strained family ties and how our main characters adapt to them, we seem to know nothing about Suzaku's mother. I think it'd be really interesting to see how he interacts with his mother (if she's even around/still alive), given the relationship he seemed to have with his dad. Or was Tohdoh basically his one and only surrogate parent?

And if nothing has been mentioned about her in-canon, does anyone know of any fics that deal with this? Thanks. =)

There is zip, zero, zilch about Suzaku's mother. o/ Which. . . I find strange too! And I think I've only seen her mentioned in The Fool Ascendant () (hopechan) as having committed suicide prior to Lelouch's arrival.

I finished it last night. It was so very awful. And by "very awful", I mean it is the best fic I can remember reading in present memory, and it almost made me cry. I think my life is actually now a bit sadder for having read that. D=

I think they'll put in some MAJOR UBER ULTIMATE TWIST sometime soon. Suzaku's mother is like um C.C.'s mother. Or maybe he's Genbu clone. Or maybe he's actually Lelouch's brother. You never know.

You know when Suzaku goes ABLARHGHHDSDSNJOSVIIGHSWFS when C.C. touches Lancelot in around episode 12 or something? And there's a little flash of Marianne in his little vision. Maybe that's what sprouted the idea.

Which actually has got me thinking Suzaku could be Lelouch's half brother. Which makes SuzaLulu Yaoi incest too xD

Nah but I think Sunrise can pull out something more interesting than that. Rollo's already filled the role of brother.

SERIOUSLY THAT IS MY QUESTION AS WELL. I've been thinking forever about that. XDD;;

They say NOOOTHIIING about his mom, like his mom never existed or something. O_o Which is weird since Genbu can't you know, make children. XD; But little Suzaku acts so distant with his daddy, and in Geass world, it's the Mom's that's always nice to the kid, but there's no one like that.. I think his mom died when he was little or something, or at least before Lelouch came. Suicide, accident, illness, murder, no idea how she died. XD; Then I have this weiiird twisted idea that maybe Genbu killed her or something after she gave birth to a male child. Or maybe his mom was a maid or something. I don't know. XD;;;; Maybe Suzaku and Genbu aren't related or something and Genbu kidnapped the kid from some relative. Or it could be like Count Cain, and that Genbu did his sister or something. ....Okay I should shut up now.
