I'm pretty sure everybody could've guessed that Rollo was the one in that yellow Lancelot.

In any case, it was rather interesting to find out that he had Geass.

Though I still wonder why the Emperor let Lelouch live. Was that out of compassion?forgot about the fact that cc lived, rofl.

I actually didn't guess it was Rollo until he came out orz & idk, it kind of... bothered me to find out that he had a Geass? I mean, two other people in one episode is a little bit much. It's probably essential to the plot line, but I don't get why Rollo and the Emperor have the same Geass as Lelouch when Mao had a different one. :/

BUT OTHERWISE I LOVED IT. Man, I got kind of pumped up listening to Zero's speech. Lelouch's seiyuu is so amazing with that kind of thing.

Actually, I think the Emperor's is different. He could implement new memories into people, something that Lelouch could not do.

Besides, we still don't know what Rollo can do with his.

My 2 cents:

Charles left Lulu alive so he could catch C.C. I also think he want Lulu as his sucessor, they're kinda alike. Buy why does he has the geass in both eyes?

Rollo with geass and Vincent: The Vincent thing I expected (watch the opening) The geass I didn´t have idea.

Diethard's fangirling, was cool.

I loved suzaku in this episode, but I could have more of him.

So it's not just me who LJ's being mean to! I'm always spazzy about checking links and cuts because they ALWAYS screw up for me.

Anyways, I practically had 8 seizures watching the episode, and was hopping up and down waiting for a time to spaz with more geass people 8D

Yeah, I totally expected the pilot in the yellow Lancelot to be Rollo, seriously, who else in that Babel tower was in a Ashford uniform D:

It didn't surprise me too much that he had a geass though, I dono why, I think it's the new fad, ohhh the Emperor has a geass, and now Rollo has one, now Suzaku needs one, and so does Nunally (who can't even open her eyes D:), and then Kallen will have one too! I almost feel like a new Geass contracter will show up (named R.R. to go with the reason why the season is called R2 - like V2 and C2... yeaahh?)

Anyone else notice that Lelouch kinda looks more buff/less skiny in his speech while in his new Zero costume?

I think the Emperor didn't kill Lelouch because Lulu's in his ultimate over-throw the gods plan or something ):

I think Rollo's geass allows him to teleport to a selected spot(and take whatever he wants with him). Lelouch did comment that his movement(in his mech) was inhumane.

Just finished R2 02 and I... I think I love Suzaku even more now. *___* WTF is he planning? But I did feel bad for Lelouch when he was up in front of Charles.

I look forward to Lulu vs. Rollo and how that little chess match is going to play out.

Also, I was honestly quite surprised that both Lelouch and Suzaku seemed to both be shooting such dangerous shots. Since I figure Suzaku couldn't shoot to kill, he just took an extraordinarily dangerous chance at incapacitating Lelouch by shooting his gun. However, I was surprised that Lelouch would take a shot at Suzaku's head. Maybe he was trying to miss, but hitting his earpiece is cutting it pretty damn close.

Rollo was blah, and now he's bloody amazing! I will be watching his progress with great interest. The PV for next week promises much excitement as Rollo and Lelouch seem to be trying to outsmart each other.

Hmmm, I didn't get the impression that Lelouch was trying to miss. I don't think he's that great of a marksman, unlike Suzaku.
I found it amusing how completely useless Lelouch was against Suzaku once it came down to physical strength/prowess without the guns. Suzaku the tairyoku baka indeed! :p

Yeah, it's most likely Lelouch was kept alive to bait out C.C. I've been wondering what they need her for, and I think Rollo's geass could hint towards the possibillity of the Empire attempting to create their own geass or something asdl;'sd. Could also be that they're making her give out geass at the Emperor's will? Hn.

The Emperor's geass wasn't all that surprising. I kind of suspected it from the get-go, or at least since he was talking to The World of The Dead. (I think it was episode five, where he was talking to Clovis or something? D|) How he got it interests me more, really. Lelouch was created to be The Black Prince/King hurrr :| /forgot which it was.

I liked the cameos, too. Kallen's breasts were my favorite /stone'd

Now, would someone mind telling me how Suzaku got Lelouch to the Emperor without attracting any attention?
First of all, I assume the Emperor was in Britannia at the time (which we assume is America, right?)
To transport Lelouch over an ocean in a Knightmare...is it even possible? Furthermore, is it possible that no one took notice of Suzaku when he barged into the throne room? (no one was there...I assumed there'd at least be guards or courtiers like there was in Lulu's flashback)
I think this is an essential point because we are asked to believe that Suzaku basically deserted the army in the middle of battle to have a personal audience with the Emperor a thousand miles away to show him the rebellion leader with no one questioning him or getting a glimpse of Lelouch's face? I mean, COME ON.

If someone can explain this to me, I'd be grateful.

Also, this ep felt too much like a rehash of ep 2 of the first season. Waay to predictable.

I cna say that I didn't expect him to be in the nightmare but I knw the little brat had a geass. as for suzaku, I NEW THE BASTARD WAS A LITTLE TRAITOR!! if he's not he's gonna have a hard time convensing me. you sell out your best friend for a promotion ( not knowing if he's gonna get killed or not by the way) just because he killed your crazy ass lacus clone of a princess. O,o WTF! to tell the truth I didn't expect the chinese federation to side with zero like that but then again I'm not sure if I saw geass red around the CF leaders eyes or makeup, its kinda hard to tell. deithearts reaction to seeing zero alive had me laughing my ass off lol. LuLu hasn't lost any of his skills. doesn't seem like losing half his black nights hindered him any , though he's gonna have a hell of a time fighting the nights of the round. after suzaku's betrayal well... I don't think lulu will have any emotional qalms over killing him now. kallen has already shown that she can stand toe to toe with suzaku hope fully she can get better and stand on equal ground if not higher then the other nights of the round. to tell the truth Todo is most likely the only one right now who can.

Lol, Suzaku you just keep doing things that make people hate you so. I like him, I really do, but WTF is he doing? I really wanted to slap him when he held Lelouch down for the Emperor to memory wipe him.
Suzaku logic at the moment: "Hmmm, selling out an old friend for a position in the Knight of Rounds? SOUNDS GOOD TO ME!" And I swear Charles will totally toss his ass once he's done with him too. Oh Suzaku, you're in for a lot of fun this season.

Rollo, I better see some bloodshed from you sometime soon with your teleportation/time skip Geass. Bwahaha I can't wait for whats in store with him.

I'm more of a Lelouch fan than i am a Suzaku fan. Throughout the first season i thought he was a good kind-heart little dude who doesn't know what he was doing. Some people mentioned that he wanted to get into Britannia and do something from there but... this is the guy who wanted to kill himself with Zero at one point! What will that do for Japan? -__-

Who knows.... maybe he has a plan now in R2 or he's continuing being a douche. But yea, this episode made me not like Suzaku more... but then again, a little piece in me doesn't want to believe it because he was all innocent and happy in season one.

I just thought of something--Rollo's going to go into the building to "Kill Zero". He obviously knows that Lelouch = Zero.

HOWEVER, he's acting all nice and friendly with his brother in the next preview. Also, notice, that they didn't show Lulu's face in the Zero costume like they usually do.

Who wants to bet that Lulu stuck someone else in the Zero-suit so when Rollo shows up, and unmasks him on screen, it looks like someone ELSE is playing Zero, thus erasing both Rollo and Suzaku's suspicions and leaves Lelouch home safe?
