Geass episode 9 postponement

Apperently episode 9 of Geass is being postponed from it's June 1st airing due to the earthquakes in China.

Oh please, Japanese TV stations. A week's wait is, of course, not that big a deal. But when it's a pointless delay, then it's bloody annoying. What, exactly, is this accomplishing? Nothing. How the hell it could upset people by airing is beyond me, and if anyone really thinks a week's wait will make a difference...just, lol.

it's not really pointless if it is because of the earthquake in china.. i mean it's like watching an anime with an underground train network being blown up after the incident in london the next day.. not exactly a nice thing to watch.

at least they didn't ban public entertainment for 3 days ;)

It wouldn't make a fig of difference to me, because Code Geass is an animated show and reality is reality :P

If it was really such a big deal, then a week's delay wouldn't be enough. This sort of token PC-ness is just silly.
